Chapter 1 - Random Poems
Little socket on the ground
Travel Through thin air
Soaring, never stop
Pop, crackle, pop
Flying for entertainment
Never stopping
Until reaches point you've seen enough
And found better
As failure on only chance starts
Begins to fall
But never reaches ground
For failed attempt
To fly
When you seem to shrink
You Shrink
When you feel pale
You’re pale
When you have the urge to kill
You Kill
When you feel warm
You’re warm
When you look at this and feel weird
You’re probably dead
You probably didn’t realize it though
Death
It’s a once in a lifetime chance
It never lies or changes its mind
It’s what life ends at
It changes everything
It’s the last thing to happen to you
It has a mind of its own
How will you prevent it?

Pretty neat. I like the beginning, myself. The short, sort of uncertain sentences leave room for interpretation throughout- always a plus with poetry, but I especially love it in the first part.
