eh... well... see. it used to be that deviantart was like a dead zone compared to fac because people commented more here, but they don't really anymore, and i've found once you get out there a little, people comment a good bit at deviantart and WAY better artistic skills and critique. (that was the worst run on sentence i've ever written.)

thanks for the comment on my rock and roll pic. it looks like your a big fan of Steven Tyler. It was so hard drawing him because of those lips of his, but oh well. I saw them in concert a few years back and they were amazing, but the most recent concert was like 200 bucks a ticket so i kinda missed that one.

Yeah we went to see it the day it came out in theatres, it was wonderful. Just because of Captain Jack because the storyline was kinda hard for me to follow but It was JOHNNY DEPP! haha I dressed up like him the other day and I looked great! well I believe Captain Jack will be back for the 3rd one ya know? They can't have a successful movie without him.

i like kind of a chorus-ey sounding clean and a real heavy distortion. i guess it depends on the pickups really. i'll have to try one out some time that's kewl.

greenday back in the day was ok so i play a couple songs from then, but i don't know a whole lot of em. i like playin metallica or pantera or just somethin kewl like that as long as it's not too easy.

if it's easy, it's boring. if it's too hard.. it's nvr too hard. u play it till u get it :D

actually, i AM in the army. the army national guard. the best branch of the military. some ppl will argue this, but i'll tell u why it is. the army national guard has been around since 1826 and it's all voluntary so every1 that's in it is there because they WANT to be. i actually just got my E-2 rank yesterday. (it goes E-1 then E-2 just so u know where it starts if u didn't already, i don't know wat u know lol but basically i get more pay and i'm more respectible. pretty decent.)

i've been playing almost 7-8 years i don't even know and i have a couple actually. i have a fender acoustic/electric and my electric is a shector omen 6 diamond series. it's black and left-handed. even though i'm very much right handed. ah well i can't play righty so w/e lol

As for the Bartimaeus trilogy - it's an excellent series by Jonathan Stroud. It's about a rather funny and boastful djinni called Bartimaeus who is summoned by a twelve-year old, nasty, self-centered magician named Nathaniel. Very gripping story full of humor and action (well, the third book surely isn't that humorous as it ends with a tragedy - I haven't yet read it and dunno if I want to at all. The first two books are definitely worth reading!)

oh and the imspiration for that drawing i did came from a packet i was reading that the doctor gave us after my sis tried to commit suicide, about ways to tell when some one is self mutilating themselves and one of the signs is popping pimples, the bad ones. it makes sense, it makes sense kinda in a way, but yeah i just thought of that drew it.

haha, yea, I don't blame ya, it's actually smart. I mean, you're a great artist to be honest, I'm good at drawing, but shading and coloring is not my strong point. um, I don't have a scanner and haven't had one for over a year now (the two by me that are up are about a year old) but my birthday is on September 6th, and I've been asking for one, so I should get one for my birthday hopefully. why do you ask? and I assure you, my new work is A LOT better, and those ones did look better before I colored them. I have two art trades, might be getting another, and when I get my scanner I will have them up, so you'll see better work. if you like my work enough, maybe we can do an art trade later.

ha. That's weird that it is taking so long to post yours. Mine always go up like 2-3 seconds later. I just put one up a while ago and it's up now.
