A very good expression for the term "impatience". I do believe it reminds me of a chinese proverb which leads me to yet another which is contradictory to the first, "a hastily cooked dish of carrots still has dirt uncleaned from the vegetable". This, as you must have readily seen, is a warning that haste brings about a product that is tarnished from that which could have been procured.
Although a quickly cooked vegetable is, at the very least, better than the raw one (which I don't suppose has any bearing on what we were talking about, an expressed whim is all it was)
