Well...
Im from New Zealand, the first country to get HALO 3!!! HALO 3!!!!
HALO 3 is the best game ever!!!
Anyway, my favourite movies are Jurassic Park and the Road to El Dorado, though I love pretty much all 2D animated movies-classics of, unfotunately, a bygone era it seems...
Xbox is awesome! My favourite games are everything Halo, Dead or Alive and Battlefront.
And lastly, Aerosmith is the greatest band in history!!!

Hey yourself. I had kind of abandoned this site, but my old email address still receives updates, so I thought I'd turn up again and say something, since it was such a nice picture. I actually was considering keeping in touch via DA but I never got round to it, for which I apologize.
I have been pretty lackluster myself. About this time last year I got back from six weeks on the Burnham Army Base. Then about June I went to work in my uncle's cafe. It closed down at the end of January, and now I am doing a certificate in retail and business. I'm planning on going to Media Design School next year, doing either 3D animation or Game Design, depending on what I can get into.
That's the short, short version of events. There's more but you'd have to be a dedicated fan to hear it all, I think. Anyway, how has life been treating you?
Also, really digging that picture. I've never been good with shading, but you've done really well.

Yeah, I know what it's like to not know what you wanna do. The main reason I haven't gone to uni yet is cos I don't want to choose a course that I won't finish. You've kind of been a cautionary tale for me in that regard, no offense. I used to be quite keen just to do a general art degree, but for the last two years I have stepped back and tried to really get a feel for what I want to do.
I built myself a new pc in January and since then I've been learning to use Maya, Photoshop, Corel Painter and the Unreal Dev Kit in order to make assets and games. In short, I just want to be absolutely certain before I throw down $40,000. And of course there is the worry that a NZ game design degree will mean nothing in the good ol' USA, which is where I wanna move once I finish uni. Provided I can get work there, that is.
I did a six week stint on the army base to see if it was something I could handle. I finished fairly easily, but after I got back I was sick for two months, and then I started working for my uncle. Looking back I'm glad I didn't join.
Also, I only have my learner's license too, and I'm 20 dammit! Hopefully I will be getting some lessons soon; I want to get my restricted before June.
