Hi!
I'm a girl, in case you were wondering! My name kinda implies it too...
About me:
I am thirteen years old. I have shoulder length - well, just above - curly brown, almost black hair, with eyes to match. According to my friends, I must be Greek. I have olive skin and dark hair. What do they know? I'm half English, half Irish, although you wouldn't guess it! I've also been asked if I'm Chinese, but only when I straighten my hair; it's much longer then. Damn my ringlets! When I do straighten my hair - not very often - , my best friend calls me "shootty", 'cos according to her I look like a Shih Tzu. She loves me really... One of her more flattering comparisons is Gogo from Kill Bill: Volume One (Quentin Tarantino). Mind you, she's Japanese, not Chinese. I'm about 5ft 3", 5ft 4". If you want read my blog, visit it at www.bonnidolli.blogspot.com. There's not much on there, I kinda neglect it. Poor blog...
My favourite characters from various series/films:
Harry Potter - Bellatrix Lestrange, both in the books and the film, definitely in the film.
Maximum Ride - I don't really know. Angel, or Fang maybe?
Pirates of the Caribbean - The monkey!!! So sweet.. Well, not sweet exactly, but you know what I mean!
Twilight - Edward. As of yet; I've only read the first one. I want to read New Moon, but they don't have it in the library. I'll have to try Waterstones...
The Saga of Darren Shan - Harkat. He's funny... How I managed to get around to reading the work of some lunatic who enjoys killing his main characters, I do not know.
The Demonata - Dervish. Or Juni, maybe... Bec's was good too.
Alex Rider - Smithers! He's cool...
Things that really annoy me:
Signature statistics! Such as " 92 percent of kids have moved on to rap music. If you're one of the 8 percent that still rocks out every day, copy this into your signature!" Is it me, or does that annoy anyone else? I mean, they're obviously fake! There is ONE I like though; I can't remember it exactly, but it was along the lines of "96 percent of teens do not know how to spell ' grammar ' or what it means. If you are one of the 4 percent that speaks English fit for a conversation, copy this into your signature." I just find that funny! And before you ask, yes, I do fit into the grammatical minority!
CHAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They annoy the hell out of me! I had a large gang of them chasing me the other day... thank God they're all too lazy to do anything in PE! Or else, I'd have a black eye and, most likely, a broken ankle or something similar... All I did was walk into their 'territory' - the bottom half of our school field - with a pink poncho over my head, saying "Cuddle the pink nun!" to anyone who would listen. I didn't go anywhere near them, but like, ten of them ran after me and both my shoes fell off! I ventured back into enemy territory with a small group of friends about ten minutes later to retrieve them! I swear if you listened to them all day, their most used word be something with four letters, beginning with the letter 'f''!
Embarassing things I have done:
Well, me and one of my friends have this thing about making up weird theories. I had a really freaky dream one night, which included my I.T. teacher druggind my best friend and smashing my nose with a bottle - there was a lot more, but you don't even want to know... - and somehow, she came up witht he idea that there was a conspiracy going on; that our female German teacher and our male I.T. teacher are one and the same! Only, you know, my I.T. is about a foot taller than she is, is a MAN, does not speak with a distinctive Spanish accent and always slouches into his lessons half an hour late, with a cup of coffee glued to his hand, while by the time we get to our German lesson, our teacher is already there and has written the date, aim and title on the board. So, the other day, I was stood outside our Geography classroom with a group of friends, waiting for the teacher. Me and my friend were telling some others about another weird theory she'd made up on the way to school. She thought my ex-history teacher was a vampire, cos' she only ever wears black, white and red. Someone else butted in, saying that they'd seen her wearing a pair of turqoise socks once. The teacher in question was stood inside the open door behind me, while I told my friends about our theory of her being a vampire:( She told the class to get in line and we all went into the classroom. She was stood in front the door and said my name as I was about to go through and I was like "OH MY GOD, SHE HEARD ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" in my head, but she just told me to hurry up! Phew...
A couple of weeks ago, I was walking along, telling my friends about the terrible gas problem I'd had the night before... the head of Geography was walking along behind us, laughing at me! He obviously told the rest of the Geography department, cos' my Geography teacher asked me the next day if my wind was any better!!!! Then after the next lesson - in which I farted - she asked me to take her register down to reception for her, in return for gassing out her classroom!
Things I enjoy:
Reading. I love to read! I have two massive bookshelves in my room, absolutely fit to bursting. At the last count - a couple of years ago - I had 280. I've bought a lot more since then... Also, my uncle drives a mobile library, so I get loads of books off him, too. I don't know how I accumalate them all!
Things that make me happy:
I'm now in year nine!! Yippeee. We're all going on our... summer holidays... Well Paris, maybe. Then Turkey next May!! With school though, but still a week full of watersports! I'll have just turned fourteen by the time I go... The worst thing is, my best friend can't come! Her mum thinks Turkey is too close to Iraq, so she has deemed it unsafe. :(
More things I hate:
The fact that said German teacher is leaving! She's going back to Spain to teach in a University. :( That means that I'm gonna get one of the two new teachers that are coming in. I dislike them already...
I lost my phone! My lovely shiny, new - sort of - phone. :( I now have to work my butt off all summer to pay for another. I highly doubt I will raise that amount of money over the summer, no matter how many cars and kitchen cupboards I clean... The particular make of phone has been discontinued, so I don't know why it's still so flipping expensive:(
