Calliope

Hi, I'm Calliope, but people call me Kally, or Kiss (C.S. - Kiss). I really love art, but I'm more into hand-drawn and colored than computer stuff, because I think that paint and charcoal, and yes, even color pencils and crayons bring out the spirit of the picture better. Computerized isn't half bad, though, and some of my pictures will be done that way, especially since I don't like the way watercolors look after they've been scanned.

Also, I really love to write. I plan to major at least partly in this and some other creative arts (drawing/painting, maybe drama) in college, so I'm getting practice now.

Ummm...that's all for now. Feel free to ask for any advice on colors (please don't ask me how to use Paint Shop, or whatever - I don't really use them) or for a beta on a story.

Oh, one more thing. I really like anime, so don't be surprised if a lot of my drawings come out anime-style. Also, my scanner is broken right now, so any pictures you get will be old ones I've already drawn.

P.P.S. Some personal info - My birthday is 15-03-91, and Clio's is 29-09-90, so you can probably expect something on those days. Maybe not though - I start my sophomore year in the fall and I'm going to a real highschool for the first time...and I heard that the juniors and seniors believe in hazing. Oh, well...Where was I? Oh yes, I'm 5'8_1/2". I've got annoyingly curly, very-red hair (but I think the curls are getting wavy!) and color changing eyes (usually blue, grey, or purple). Ummm...Also, I like all kinds of creative arts, including drawing and painting, writing, dancing, and acting. I'm working on an original story in my spare time, and I just know that some day I'm gonna be big!
