I'm an anime artist
I use Open Canvas and usually draw chibis (SDs,ect.)
But Pencils and Paper forever!
UPDATE:
Well, THE reason I haven't been updating is well, I am
actually really bad at drawing with a tablet (directly on the
computer). Well, okay, I'm not THAT bad, it's just I feel that
I do better with traditional paper and pencil. I'm also
kinda lazy about taking every piece of paper I've doodled
on and scanning it. (plus I'm an idiot when it comes
to scanning)
Plus, I've been taking this "break" as an opportunity
to improve my technique. I'm no longer a real "anime artist" if you will, but more of a cartoonist in general. I still draw anime,
though not as much as I used to, and am exploring other techniques
on how to draw people. I am trying to practice expressions, figure drawing, and especially anatomy. So I am sorry, if you have requested a picture from me. I promise I shall try to get it in as soon as I get around to it. But school has also kept me busy. Reports, projects and such have kept me preoccupied. Once again, I apologize for my lack of updates. Thanks for putting up with me!
-ChibiOne :)
(yeah I'm seriously twelve, my big vocabulary SCARES YOU!) >D
OTHER STUFF:
I'm at the amazing age of 12. BIRTHDAY SOON! Gonna be the big
One-Three!
:P
I'll accept requests, but one at a time please :)
Requests *OPEN*
Remember kids, the philosophy (at least mine) is:
"Never compare yourself to another artist."
If you see someone you feel is better than yourself, yes,
that may be a goal to get to that level, but think of
the people that compare themselves to you. Also, it
depends on how you feel about your own art. There is
always, ALWAYS someone better or worse than you are at
something. If you are a beginner though, especially, you
should keep working hard and never let yourself get down.
It is what you, yourself, feel about your technique, and the
way you express yourself. Never say you "suck," or that you'll
never be as good or better than another artist.
Nothing beats the traditional tools: Pencils...Paper...
Erasers are your friends...
