I've tried rocket jumping in Call of Duty, Modern War Fare, and with the Grenade Launcher in Left 4 Dead 2.Sadly, it never works in any of those games.
But I keep trying! :D

I have that issue every Time I play a different game.Except I try stuff from TF2 in other games, Like trying to Rocket Jump in Call of Duty when I saw a Sniper on top of a church.
