I already have an idea.

For the first page you see Gordon Freeman standing on the side of the Highway.

Suddenly the screen is obscured, showing you the front of the Snipers RV, and you can see him and the Pyro through the window.

In the last panel you see gordons broken glasses lying on the ground as the RV drives away, with "Spain or Bust" Written on the bumper.
