I've been drawing for, well, years and then some. I've been through many stages of drawing. Horses have been consistant but as a kid there were Ninja Turtles, Jets, Robots, Fantasy Creatures, Dinosaurs, Power Rangers, and even X-Men. I took as many art classes as I could through Junior High and High School. I continued to draw what was easiest for me and stuck with animals, the exception being when we were requested to draw still life or gradiants and so on. Then I got my first taste of Anime from a friend. I decided to a take a stab at it and ended up drawing one of the girls from Digimon. Infact that picture does hang on my wall. I tried to stay away from human types and figures as I was always frustrated that they weren't perfect. I tend to be one of those people who have to have it look just right or it isn't good enough. I did venture into Croft after looking at some work by Mr.Turner. Ended up giving most of that work away to guys at school. Kind of regret doing so now. Back to what I was saying, I didn't touch anime after that single drawing. Then somehow out of the blue I got introduced to Anime by my younger sister, VHD:Bloodlust that she borrowed from a guy friend. I was hooked like a kid on halloween candy after that one. I started learning Japanese about a year ago, and about 6 months ago I started taking my hand at drawing Anime'. Regardless of how crappy I feel they are I figure keep them so that I can learn off of what I used to do and only improve. I have seen a improvement and I hope to continue drawing from the Anime & Manga that I am obsessed with. After I get enough of a gathering of my work I once again hope to start a website of my artwork. Since I already run 3 business websites for my family I think it's the least I can do. Some of my favorite guy characters are obviously, D, Alucard (Hellsing), Tsume, Toga, Amon (ok slight like for Crispin's voice). I've only seen a small portion of the anime world but I'm getting into more and more of it slowly but surely. I liked reading Magic Knights, and Love Hina. Wolf's Rain, Big O, and Witch Hunter Robin through AS. Chobits it's cute. Trigun :).I actually purchased Hellsing on a whim from Japan. I didn't even have a clue what I was getting into and I'm definately a person who likes to know they are not wasting their money. Praise it. VP Miyu is pretty good I'm just watching that as we speak. Lot's more for that list but I don't need to write a book, sorry ;). Anyways, Glad to be here everybody and new to the masses. It's a pretty awesome place to be.
