That and the ability to ignore that voice in the back of your head screaming that everything you write is really, really bad.

I mean seriously, that guy won't shut up.

And, there will always be someone better than you, just use that fact as an incentive to further your on abilities, and if you can look at their style and try to find ways you can adjust yours to become better :)
