So, you're probably gonna start with a Riolu. Who will then later evolve.

When an animal who's a "pokemon" matures/grows more and looks noticably different than it used to, that's what we call an evolution. Like, Furret was way shorter and kinda fat, but he grew up to be really long and slender. So, he evolved from a Sentret into a Furret.

It got a sudden growth spurt. >_< I never expected a salamander/frog/thing to grow so big.......

No problem!! X3 Oh, and Sasuke's Marshtomp or whatever it's called, like, evolved!! D:

Getting you a Lucario would be way easier than a Sharpedo, so we'll stick to that, okay? (Giant saltwater tanks are expensiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!!!!!!!! And then Kakuzu would throw another fit!!!!!)

*shrugs* Only 3 rules to it.

1. Make sure there's room.

2. Get it while it's still a pup.

3. Convince all neighbors and whoever that it's just an overgrown dog who especially likes rough fun.

Like, find a dog/wolf/coyote/whatever. Not that hard. Or, not as hard as getting a Sharpedo or something like that.

*nods* Okay, I know I can definately get you a Treecko, a Sharpedo, or a Lucario. If you want a Mime Jr., I know some cute kids down the street you are actually like, clowns or magician whatever. And for Nuzleaf, I know another kid who's all obsessed with nature and can play flute and stuff like that. :3
