Do you happen to go on the forums? I have a feeling you would like it there....with it's occasional blunt and crude people.- they just say what needs to be said. You can address your issue with the stories and get feedback and comments from artists that have the same thoughts as you.
Unfortunately, this specific site does not care much for stores. People are more into the art- I mean that's what happens when you see a site called "FanART Central." There is no Featured story you know? Frankly, there are few people here who care for them. However, this does not mean you have to push yourself onto believing this site will give your work the light of day. If you are truly looking for comments and criticism on your work, you should make another account on writing sites like fanfiction.com where you will be given better treatment for your work. ;o
