We had a guy come out to look at it and he said the compressor was out on it but it wouldn't be worth replacing since the unit is so old. It would be better to just get a new one but my BF's dad wants a bigger unit and we have to get the furnace replaced for it to fit or something like that. We checked the batteries and stuff but I guess it's just broken... oh well. We will get it fixed eventually.AngelicKitten on July 27, 2011, 9:24:50 AM

Yeah, I keep the window in my room open all the time to let air in. I have to close it when it starts raining but it does help. We had the kitchen window open but someone keeps closing it. That gets annoying. Hopefully, next month we will have enough money to get a couple window ACs to put in the bedrooms and whatnot. That will help a lot.AngelicKitten on July 27, 2011, 8:24:57 AM

Unfortunately the AC is so old that we have to get a new one but in order to do that we have to replace the furnace, too, which will cost $6,000 to replace both. Needless to say, it won't be getting fixed any time soon. :(AngelicKitten on July 27, 2011, 8:03:54 AM
