Thanks for your comments on my Meadow picture!!! I was imprisoned in Siberia somewhere for 2 months with no electricty and everybody I knew in Fanart central was ignoring me... anyway, The trick to use markers well is to get a good paper... were you expecting practice, practice, practice or something?
Anyway, look around for pad of paper that specifically says Marker-layout-pad. or similar, and use good ones, focusing heavily on different skin tones.
