I'm a student of UCLA, and study the arts, though primarily music. I do, though have quite an affection for Zelda artworks and oriental watercolor; but I'm not a huge anime fan. If it's good art, I like it, which leads me to my next statement: I DESPISE POST-MODERN ART. A great example of this:

A man says he will kick a 'can of curry' down the street in London, and the art museum there pays him $10,000 for him to do it. People line the streets to see him do it at a said time of 10:00 AM on a said date---and he doesn't show up! Why? "It's not the action, it's the concept." And he is hailed as a world genius! That, my audience, is NOT art, and it certainly is deserving credit for being ingenius. It is a classic case of the 'Emperor's new clothes', because now EVERYONE thinks he's a genius. How could this be?...I digress...

So I despise Post-modern art for that reason. All other art I really enjoy.

I am a Romantic enthusiast: I love the books, music, and art developed during the Romantic era. In the music, my aficionados are Lizst, Shubert, Chopin, Grieg, Rachmaninoff, Wagner, Grieg, MacDowell, Beethoven, Grieg, Tchaicovsky, Moussorgsky, Grieg...
I love the works of Grieg, especially his lyrical pieces. I also enjoy the Impressionistic time peiod with Revelle and Debussy.
As an accomplished pianist, I can play some pieces of all of them, along with other composer's works I cannot think of off the top of my head.
I also play the trumpet professionally--orchestral, concert, marching, and Jazz.
