well, that's fine. but what is your current job that is giving you such a hard time? well I'm glade they gave you a break and you got to at least have fun, even if ya did get burned, lol. what amusement park did ya go to? I freakin' love roller coasters! i'm going to Universal Studioes this summer, I'm real excited and I can't wait for school to be over. i'm doing good with photoshop, just am trying different ways to color and trying to get a hang of that damn pen tool, lol. yeah, so we can learn together that would be cool. that's cool about you wanting to be a manga artist and if ya think you just want to get out of the job you're in I guess you should try working at Hollister.

urgh, well i've been trying to comment on your first challenge pic, twice actullay, but somehow it isn't working. So i'll just leave my comment here.
 
lol, well i never heard of Red River.....*gets into a defensive pose*
But I think it's good you picked a manga that was your insperation as your first pic. Overall I think it was a good first pic. I liked the pose, very beautifull, the background was simple but nice, I especially liked the little excerpts: helped tell what was going on to those who haven't read this manga, like myself, lol. and yeah the water looked like it was difficult for you, could use some work, but that was only the first pic of many so no sweat. 

lol, well hang in there, I suck at learning other languages, lol i even suffer at spanish, but i never had the best teachers. I guess you could always drop the class if ya don't feel up to it.
 
And yeah I learned shading and attention to detail with my one-on-one lessons, we even do a lot of still lifes in art class at school, so i pretty much have shading down to an art :P lol, I would say my strong point would be drawing from observation.
 
And i'm looking forward to the Kazuma & Achika pic? I've been wondering about what it'll look like, lol and knowing you it will properly look awesome!

and thanks for commenting my photoshop attempted pic. lol, I know your thing is CG coloring, i actually would've preferred to color it in that style, but I haven't figured that out yet, i'll have to play around with photoshop some more.
