This is Strata, one of the staff members who reviews incoming FAC submissions. Lately I've noticed that when you submit artwork to FAC, you are always selecting the "pixel art" option from the Media field. This is wrong: none of your submissions can be considered pixel art, your pieces appear to have been created using Photoshop (or similar programs).

The term "pixel art" (wiki article) refers exclusively to computer artwork created one pixel at a time from close magnification, without the use of brushes, layers, blurring, or any special effects -- it is strictly not a blanket term for any and all computer artwork. If you need more information, read the Wikipedia article.

Please take the time to fill out all required fields on the submission form properly, which includes correctly classifying the Media of your submission.

Aren't you even reading the rejection notices in your e-mail, or are you even checking your e-mail at all? When we reject a submission, a notification message is sent to your e-mail address, and the reason for rejection is clearly stated in the e-mail. Very large size is precisely why your submission keeps being rejected.

Gah . . . this is one of the reasons we need a better notification system.
