Well, DX isn't just a shooter, which is why I like it. Otherwise, I am like you;don't like them. xD
See, because at it's core; it's kinda na RPG. You get quest, run around the world in this big , beautifully crafted story, points for completing quest , and/or beating people up (which brings me to another point: you don't HAVE to kill people. You can sneak past them,thus making it a stealth game, or take them out with a carefully placed takedown or non=lethal weapon. Which you get extra points for, I might add~) , you can be a LoZ style kleptomanic, there are bosses that you win with words NOT feest, interact and build relationships with characters,etc.

Basically, what I am saying, is it is thie only game in First-Person I have found that can hold an RPG-fans attention~.

Yyessss~!! He's from the fantabulous continuation of the first person RPG/shooter/ open sandbox/BASICALLY A LOT OF GAME GENRES series, Deus Ex~! Specifically; Deus Ex: Human Revolution and its DLC story, The Missing Link~!
 He's the (VERY,VERY attractive...and grumpy~~) protag of DX HR~.

And they are chubby looking, had one on my arm once.
