Sadly no. Vocaloid is not an anime. Vocaloid is merely a singing program with artificial voices used to make songs. I for one prefer that so we can leave the vocaloid's personality to the fans.

No it's not an anime. There's an anime based off of a song MADE by Miku the vocaloid called Black Rock Shooter, but it's about the song and some school girls.
