he is bad at first but then omi and Rai convince him to be good^^ his element is darkness his special move is dark vortex...DARKNESS!!! its sorta like Typhoon Boom except with darkness

Personaltiy/History: Kinda lay back but sometimes rushes into fights(mostly when its against Chase young), his best friend is Rai, and they often play soccer together (though it always ends up in a tie), Shade is kind and gets shy around pretty girls or girls he likes. Chase Young likes keeping an eye on Jamal since this is the first time in Xiaolin history that the element of Darkness is on the good side. Chase Young killed Jamals parents and Jamal found out when he was going to the good side because Chase accidentally said "Dont make the wrong descision or i will kill you like i did your parents!". Jamal likes playing soccer, basketball and Goo Zombies, he also likes hanging out in the green house since it "Reminds him of something". Jamal doesnt know anything about his past except that Chase killed his parents
