And about FFIV SNES (this is IIus or 4j?), I suggest Rosa do absolutely nothing but Cure4 (Rydia should take care of Life-ing people), Edge can chuck any and all swords, shurikens, and spoons... if you must, have Edge chuck the Murasame and Masamune (If you want, you can multiply the Excalibur). I think I had Kain jump continuously... and Rydia, well I kinda kept her back on her attack, because Zeromus normally retaliates. So I have her keep Rosa going with ethers (or Life/Pheonix Down if Rosa goes down)... Asura might not be a bad idea when you're desperate. Cecil can just be Cecil and stab away. Actually, if Cecil's/Kain's turn comes around when Rydia needs to do her item-keeping job, have him do it instead.
That would be my general strategy... and to make things quicker, move all the needed things to the top (that means ethers, Cure4, Asura, Life, etc)
One more thing. Buy lots of ethers and such. LOTS.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw your comment; I thought I was one of the only FFIV fans that wasn't born (or was really little) when the game first came out... and I've beaten it, so... yeah. I'll be glad to help you out with it.
I'm not familiar with Baten Kaitos and such, but might I say that your art is really cute! I can't do much with a mouse and Paint...
