You're getting Copics? Neat! I've never used Copics myself, but from what I've heard, they're awesome. I've wanted some for a long time, but I don't have enough money, sadly. xD
As for paper, you'd probably want to either get some marker paper, which is specifically for markers and won't bleed, or perhaps some nice cardstock or smooth Bristol board. Look for something that says right on it that it's recommended for use with markers.

If it's constructive critism you want...

The faces on your characters and drawings are nearly flawless, really. But... The body anatomy may be off more or less. On the occasion, it seems like the arms are too short along with the legs - specifically on your Albel's Gonna Get You! piece of work.

I know that I always have issues when it comes to proportions aaaallll the time. A lot of the time I'm too lazy to fix it or I need someone to point it out for me because I can't see it.

Other than that, my favorite one is the Cloud: Bishonen Extrordinaire. Good stuff.
