Bio: I'm a merry goth raised on Disney, old cartoons and Tom Lehrer, and my goal is to get my first degree in Creative Writing. I'm a writer and an artist, as well as a singer. My chief hobby is learning, and history is the most fascinating type of learing to me. NOTE: Do not read this if you plan on flaming me about it, please. That's just rude and immature behavior, and I will not tolerate it. These are my opinions, and I'm not asking you to agree; I'm sharing because I find the learning of other people's political stances very interesting. Thank you.

Abortion: ...should not be illegal, but it is a major operation and should be treated as such.

Same-sex Marriage: ...should be legal. Actually, I think marriage and the civil union should be completely separate, and that you should be allowed to make a civil contract with as many consenting adults as want to participate. And it shouldn't have to be 'forever'.

Gun Control: ...is a very good idea; I don't want someone who doesn't know how to use a gun being allowed to own one. That's like letting someone drive who doesn't know how.

Drugs: ...should be legal. All of them. Yes, you heard me. The only reason drugs became illegal was because of racism. It doesn't matter what you do, so long as you don't steal or rape or anything. I mean, being high shouldn't be a crime--doing BAD things on a high is the crime bit.

Alcohol: ...should not have an age limit. As soon as you make something illegal or controlled, you make it more dangerous. (noticing a theme?)

Age of Consent: ...should be completely between the parents and the children. I do not like the government interfering with parenting, honestly, unless it has to do with another crime like rape or abuse. But again, that isn't something unique to parent/child relationships.
