You made a fine choice, friend. ff.net is the biggest Fan fiction site out there... that I've found. XD
Okay, what you do is type up the chapter in a document (I suggest MS Word, but whatever you got) and save it. Then log in and go to the Document Manager. Upload the document and it'll appear on a tiny list. You can click on it to make any revisions. Then go to Stories and click on Guidelines. Whenever you start a new story, you have to agree to the guidelines first. They're all basic, so don't worry about reading it. Accept, then update the story, which is straightforward (choosing its category, title, genre, rating, summary, choosing the document you just uploaded, etc), and bingo! It's up! Whenever you wish to add on a chapter to an existing story, simply go to Stories and click on it and make the revisions.
That's it! Glad I could help!

Getting the color on the moon is the easy part, all you have to do is put a colored spot, using the Marble3 stamp. Then on the side, you know how it has the black and white symbol for lightness and RGB shading? Well if you click on that you'll see an option that says Hue up/Hue Down after you click on that, get a Round20-ish size and then when you go to change the color on the moon Don't drag, it'll mess it up. Just click in Spots, using left and right click. I'll do a tutorial ^^

Moons are very easy to draw, you use paint shop right? Well if not photo shop would be easy too. Anyway I just take the big paint circle and put I white dot on a dark background, and then I take one of the sets, where it says like Marble, it looks like clouds in a way ^^ And I usually place it over the moon in a dark color, preferably, and then I go to the Darkness and Lightness option and change it to the color setting, then I put the opacity to about 65 to 70 and just kinda click in spots, but don't drag it! 'cause that'll just mess it up.

Also, I use layers, layers are a BIG help with drawing. ^^ If you got anything else you'd like to ask, then feel free to do so ^^

It's really simple, actually. It just takes some time. I just use the smear tool at 1 pixel (On Photoshop). I'd make a tutorial, but I don't think I'd make a very good one. But thanks for the comment~

yozz... hmm it happens to me at times when doing photoshop. the thing is that it usually comes back when i restart the program. you might wanna check the brush settings under 'shape dynamics'. the control for 'size jitter' should be set to pen pressure. also see the computer control panel if your pen tablet still has its proper settings...
if all else fails, ask for a refund or replacement XP you might wanna call the wacom customer service first tho

Okay, could you do Erik and Anna at the Masquerade Ball for me? I'd like Erik to be in his Red Death costume (drool), and Anna has to be in a long, silky, light blue dress that shruggs off the shoulders. Her hair is done in a loose bun with strands falling around her face, she is wearing a white mask shaped like bird's wings, and white sandals. Just make them standing close together, with one of Erik's arms around her waist, and the other holding her hands. You can do any background you like, or no background at all, doesn't matter to me!! And I'd like it done in like a normal style, so not chibi or anime.
And you can tell me what u want me to do, and I'll get working on it!!!!

depends on how you wanna do it... but hair is usually just strokes of differing colours. and for skin you gotta figure out the shadow parts... colour those n blend them. just keep practicing!

hmm my shadings are basically done with a brush that has 'opacity' and 'flow' set to pen pressure. i use a tablet... that's part of why it's easier. and once you have that you can do multiple strokes of different colours till they blend

Yeah I could give you some shading tips, It's really not that tough. Once you pick a shade tool, you can use the darnkness/lightness tool and just take the opacity down to like 50-65% and just pick spots to bring out muscle shade or places sun or light can't reach like the under belly or part of the neck.

Lightness: Opacity lvl 50s-60s (just click the tab on the top) This one is great for making things shiny like crystals and edges, but don't use it in too much spots or it won't look good.

The dodge tool: Opacity lvl 50s-70s (located where the smudge/soften tool is, is very handy for highlights/midtones and shadows, 'specially when you're working with a light blue color. Just click the down arrow to switch the action it's suppose to take.

Style: I created her in a D&D game, so a medieval approach would be alright.

Carry: She has a sword on her right side (check "Karyana's Final Sword").

Hair style: Long, black hair, with light bangs and a very long braid (Yuna style, but stops at hips).

She also has blue-green eyes and sometimes wears a tiara to hide the diamond-shaped mark on her forehead.

Macros-a-crazy. It mixed all wrong.

the tutorial? No, it's just a nice way to learn how to shade.
My Wacom is 8"x8" and the drawing part of it is about 3.5"x5". As for where I got it, I'm not sure, it was given to me, I think it was bought at Circuit City or Best Buy, you know how the Christmas present thing works, lol. It's white and it came with a bundle of software, Photoshop Elements 3.0 and a Corel Painter, and I think there was something else but I'm not sure what it was.

Hiya, I go over the pencil lines in a black fineliner pen, rub out the pencil and scan it into the computer. There's then a short process on photoshop that gives you a clean transparent picture with a black outline.

To get more clear and neat pencil outlines, try using a mechanical pencil instead of a regular wooden one.

The dots reappeared? Freaky. I'm not sure, are your pics in jpeg format? The only possible thing I can think of is that when you color the background a light color, the dots can SEEM like they disappeared because they blend in. However, when you change it into a darker color the dots are more visable and show up.

I ink my drawings because my old scanner ate pencil. XD

Oh, yeah, I had a similar thing. I had to sit next to this girl on my bus for a year, who had a bad family background and was constantly hyper and silly. I couldn't bear it to begin with, but I learnt to be more patient with her.
I also bought some new pencils from eBay, and I'm so excited to use them. So I'm waiting til they come, til I sit down to try any requests. ^-^ Should be here soon!

Well, you can choose from these two options, I don't mind which you choose. So I'll leave you to pick an option.

*Option 1*
Do you do backgrounds? If yes, can you draw a massive tree in the background? I would like them to be on a large grassy field and I want the sun to look like its just hit sunset.
I want the two to look peaceful, so that means they shouldn't have weapons. I would like them to be laying.

*Option 2*
Lynxie is walking in the woods, she hears screams of death, she runs into the deep dark woods and then she finds blood on the floor because Xasuke as killed some people that got in his way. So........The two can be in the woods. Lynxie would have a shocked expression and obviosly a little bit of fear in her eyes because she just witnessed a death and she doesn't know that its the same boy that she met in the past. (she doesn't find out who he really is untill later)

However, Xasuke knows straight away that Lynxie is the same girl from the past but he will have a bit of a cold look.

And YES! They should BOTH have there weapons.

My pencil crayond ones are just pure pencils, but the others are done on Adobe illustrator. But like I said most of my work in my gallery has been done with colouring pencils. ^_^

Man, this is going to be a long comment. lol Okay, now keep in mind these instructions are with PSP and not Photoshop but they are very similar so you shouldn't have too many problems.

1) Fill a section of your picture with any color (you will see white spots)

2) Go to the "Dropper" tool on your toolbar and click on it. LEFT click on one of the spots and RIGHT click on the base color.

3) Go to the "Flood Fill" tool and click on it. On the control box adjust the tolerance to... let's say... 14. I will tell you about this later.

4) Go to the colored section of your pic and first LEFT click and then RIGHT click. The spots should be gone! Tell me if this doesn't work. The tolerance level adjusts how many spots will disappear. Caution: If you turn up the level too high it may flood fill more than one section of your drawing.

Ahhh, wait I see. Is it that when you tried to color an inked picture there are a ton of white spots that you have to fill? I can fix that. Let me know if that is what it is.

What do i use for shading? well most of the time i use a mechanical pancil. If you want the shading to be consistant then try going over it lighty with a pencil then use your finger to mix it together. that works most of the time. and if ya mess up then thats what the eraser is for. As for my pics for my phantom pics I use my dvd and when i find a spot where i like the picture i pause the dvd and draw it...i could never do that by memory. For some of my other pics like my Greed one i did use a screen cap on the internet. Most of my other pics i just imagined out of thin air and put em on paper. i dont really have a photographic memory. I have a hard time drawing Gerry's lips too. at first they always look like girly lips but if ya erase and draw them enough times you will eventualy get them right....or at least close to what they are somposed to look like XD. i hope that helps. i try to get your pic done by somtime this week.I kinda have a busy schedule.

You asked what version of PSP I have? Well I am on my laptop in a hotel room so I couldn't tell you my main computer's version but on my laptop it is 5. I think it is the same for my other computer, I'm not sure.

Wow, your right. we do have alot in common. I'd be happy to try to draw the pic for you but i can't guarantee it will be very good but i'll try. XD Is there a specific picture of him in that scene that you want me to draw? Cause there are a few different screen shots where he's holding the rose if ya could tell me which one it would help.As for why people call the phantom Erik,in the original book the one by gaston leroux Erik is his name. If ya want to get better at shading then try to imagine where the light is showing on the object or person. where the light is it's gona be lighter and where the light isnt showing its gona be a bit darker.like if ya have the sun shineing on the right side of a tree then the left side is gona be darker.... also if ya look at pictures that have cell shading and try to draw them you'll get a feel for how to do the shading. i hope that helps. btw what month is your birthday in?

lol, don't worry about it! That picture's kinda crappy, it makes my hair seem a little darker than it really is. My hair is definitely not light blonde though. That's all...

Advice on shading? I'm really not that good at it! lol Well, what I do is color it and use the line tool (usually one pixel wide) and draw an outline of the shading. Make sure two things: 1) ALL the lines are connected or the color will spill everywhere 2) Keep the tolerance relatively low to around 10 or else the color will spill also. The tolerance is under controls then tool controls. When everything is adjusted, find a color that's slightly darker then the original color you used and fill in the outline. And advice on where to put the shading? Um... try to put all of the shading on the same side like for instance on the right side of the body. So like it's not on the left side of the torso and the right side of the legs. The arms, you can usually wing it. And what looks good sometimes is when you draw simple folds in the clothes with the line tool and fill it in like I sometimes do with mine. Does this help? Although they aren't that great, you can look at my pictures as a guideline. Let me know if there is more you want to know!
