the hours flew by like migrating geese across a clear sky.
The anxious Iruka paced outside a closed door, the smell of strong disinfectant wafted through his nostrils leaving him with a sickly taste in his mouth.
He bit down on his lip hard-in his mind it was a way to avoid bursting in to the room and frantically trying to heal the girl whom he saw as his own daughter himself despite what trouble it might cause. All that was left for him to do was wait and hope for the best.

Kiba walked the lonely, sterile corridors. A single white Orchid grasped firmly in his left hand and his loyal companion Akumaru running at his side.
Nothing was going to stop him. Nothing was going to get in his way. Nothing was going to destract him. He was on his own personal mission: to make sure that the quiet kunoichi, Nara Namida, was going to be alright.
Oh how much he had wanted to step in and help, to rip her away from the clutches of the wild and fierce Selina....too bad there were so many bodies to wade though.

Sakiko sat beside Selina on the bed, thoughtfully looking down at the sleeping form. Head resting on the outstretched arms in front of her like a little tiger. The Jounin could hear faint purring bubbling up from her throat as her back rose and fell slowly.
"how could she kill like that?" she though allowed "is it possible that....." she was cut off in mid sentence by a gentle rapping at the door.

A kind young nurse stepped inside the room, and with a warm smile, walked up to Sakiko, and lightly rubbed behind Selina’s left ear. “So…is she doing alright? Has she woken up yet?” Selina smiled a little bit in her sleep, and Sakiko could help but smile at her daughter. “Not yet. She’s been sleeping well, though.” The nurse nodded. “That’s a good thing. From what I hear, that fight was brutal. I bet she could use some rest.” She turned her head to look at Nara, who was finally left alone, but hooked up to a few machines. “Poor girls. They’ve both been through so much.”

Outside, the Third Hokage was talking to Iruka, although Iruka was on the brink of yelling. “Lord Hokage, that’s not going to help anything! She needs to stay here, with us!” The Hokage only shook his head. “No, Iruka, you need her to stay, not the other way around. She’s strong; she can make it on her own. I’ll bring this to the council of elders, but my decision is final. If they all agree with me, Nara is going back to the Snow village, for good.”

With that, the hokage left the chunin standing in the bitter silence. It wasn't fair. Why did nara have to leave? It wasn't her fault she lost control... Iruka rubbed his temples trying to collect his thoughts. "Iruka-kun." He looked up at Dani and tried his best to smile. "Nara, is fine. If that's what's troubling you." She smiled through her navy blue mask. "No." Iruka shook his head. "They..The Hokage, wants to send Nara back to the Snow Village." Dani stared, her green eye flickered. "W-what?" she was stunned. "Why?!" Iruka flinched at her sudden burst of anger. "They feel that she's somewhat dangerous to the village." He whispered. "How is she dangerous?! That was only one t-" "Is everything fine out here?" The wide eyed nurse looked at both Dani and Iruka, scared. "Yes." They answered in unison. "P-please keep it down, then," She gulped. "You are disturbing the patience."

Iruka has been talking to the hokage for a while now, Sakiko thought. Hopefully the Hokage understood the sudden attack at Kouga's funeral. Selina stirred in her sleep, muttering. Sakiko smiled, stroking her daughter's hair. She felt a sudden spark of anger run through her. She knew, when Selina got out of the hospital, how people would react. Sakiko bit her lip. Why were people so cruel? They had no idea what is was like to live life known as a...monster
