Chapter one.
Friend.
A lot of people say that when you listen to music. It takes a bight out of your sole. That vibe you get when you listen to it. The Goosebumps that run up your arm leaving that chill on your back bone. It tapes into your emotions. Sometimes I dance to it. Other times, I listen. Not to the beat, but actually listening to it.
Sometimes when you listen to the wrong kind of music, it changes you.
It turns you into this depressed, violent person. When you watch a friend turn into this person. Its like watching a train wreck happening or about to happen. The longer you stay on the track you are going to get hit. Sometimes you do something about it, save the person before they get hit. Other time , you just stand there. Watching it about to happen. Watching that train getting closer and closer. Hoping, praying that that person. Movies out of its way.
That’s exactly what I did. Stood around watching it happen. Hoping she would conquer over it. Hoping, and praying.
When I first noticed a change in Allies personality. We were standing in line to go see “30 days of 30 nights.” I had read the novel. A real piece of work. I just had to see the movie.
I was surprised that Ally had come with me. She always hated horror’s. well not hated, just to scared to go see one. I did notice her pacing her body. As if she were standing inline for a scary roller costar rocking herself back and forth gently.
“you know you don’t have to go with me.” I told her.
“no, no. I really need to get over my fear of movies like this. Their not real.” She explained.
“alright if you’re sure. It might really disturbed you more than it would scare you. Its gory movie, too. The hills have eyes were worse though.”
“Well we’re not seeing the hill have eyes. We’re seeing this movie. And I can handle it. I’m 17 you know.” It was so cute how she acted brave around me. I rolled my eyes and smirked to myself.
The line in the mall had moved up slowly but surly.
