Don't have IM, matey, sorry. I try not to use IM or anything like that because I don't want to be distracted from my work too much.I do know there are a lot of jobs, but there's so much competition (just look at all the guys on ConceptArt! Sheesh!)

True, but I'm not sure I really fancy web design. I'm more an illustrator/cartoonist by nature and I'd like to stick with that. It may be a difficult field to get into, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't strive for it, you know?On saying that, it's good to have a few other skills to fall back on, too.

Thought I would answer your question here instead. If we continue talking on my image, the reply boxes will get smaller and smaller!It's really just personal projects I'm working on. I have 2 comics planned (one of them is a re-write of my Freak story) and some drawings for a friend over on DeviantArt.
I'm also learning more about perspective drawings for the comics, to make them look better and really pop.
I would love to get some freelance work, but it's a difficult field to get noticed in :\
