when you color them in PS if you have one, uhhhm like do these procedures:
@ open the pic in photoshop
@ dupplicate the layer
@ delete the original layer
@ set the duplicated layer to "multiply mode"
@ then put other layers before that layer wherein you could color it and the mode should be just normal, you can use open canvas too
