so, how long does it take for a picture to get approved now a days? @.@;

Not sure, though I believe it took quite a while for my drawing to get approved.

It was a matter of a few hours, I believe. And I laughed way harder than I should have.

Oh! xD I thought it'd take days, there were times when it's take that long, but when luckylace222 was around, she'd have instant approvals, uuuuugh, I could try becoming an admin of some sort! I have the spare time now ¬_¬;

   ................. Did you know? If you upload A LOT, EVERYDAY for a certain amount of time, they will automatically accept you as a daily uploader, and whenever you want to upload a drawing, it'll be up-and-away, as fast as you say, "Wow." Maybe even faster.

Seriously?!


 

   I am surprised (not really) that none of you has asked, "What's the catch?" Yep! There's a catch! Say Shameful actually made it into the 'daily uploaders' list, like Astrid (beautiful name, btw) has. Congratulations, Shameful! After celebrating, he decides to take a long nap and a peaceful break away from reality for a couple of days/weeks. After a few days/weeks, he comes back and uploads a drawing. It doesn't upload as fast as the first few days/weeks. What's happened?

Wellp, after continuously uploading to earn your status, you still have to continuously upload something in order to keep your status. It's not a one time thing, you know.... If you think I'm lying, I'm not. I speak from personal experience. C8 I hope this helps (a/o crushes your dreams).

OR, perhaps you upload a drawing that is way past the max capacity limit. That could also prevent you from uploading as fast as you'd thought you'd be.. as fast as. (Weird grammar. o.o ) One other thought: you upload a fan-art drawing that does not have its own category yet--that could also be the problem.

ah, well, see I almost kind of figured that. It used to be like that? In a sense that the admins would already know that your art is 90% of the time legit, so yep ^__^ thanks for the heads up though!

That way, you don't have to go all around looking for them, or possibly end up using the "Browse Users" search, which REALLY DOES NOT HELP you at all, unless the person you were looking for actually has their name on top of the list. Eh.

I took note of that T-T I haven't drawn anything today, but the two pieces that were pending are now approved~ So yep ^__^ I might make a quick doodle just to be a daily uploader lol

lol, I figured "screw it" this is my little abode, you see, I was here when the site was filled with nothing but flamers and sonic art! xD I believe I was about 16? Maaaaaybe 17? I'm 22 now ^__^ So, I get to be a bit of a teen again~ But yeah, my english can be quite proper at times. Makes me feel like I haven't lost complete and total touch from reality ^^;
