Yeah, I guess I do get pretty long-winded when I write out descriptions sometimes... hmm, I'm not sure if I have any pictures with short descriptions given, there's always too much to talk about... you know how that is, right?

Ah, more comments. Yay! I'll tackle those in two stabs.

First, regarding the "Troubled Waters" picture. The whole point I was aiming for with that picture WAS to make it look dark. It's a night scene, after all, and I wanted to make the sea creature a little mysterious, difficult to spot, so that while you know it's there, it's hard to tell what it is. So yeah, it's a little tough to spot him in the dark water. That was deliberate ;)

Now, in regards to my Darkness element dragon. You are wondering about the extra "heads", right? I did say, in the picture's description, that "while Darkness appears to have three heads and twelve eyes, those are merely illusion..."

I have my own definitions and standards for what constitutes a hydra, and while working on Darkness, I had the idea to make him look like a hydra. But he's still a dragon. You see, the problem I've always had with hydras is the interpretation of each head being actual heads -- three discrete sets of mouths leading to the same stomach, three sets of noses leading to the same lungs, and three brains controlling the same body. To me, it simply doesn't work. So, I take the interpretation as one head being the "master", the "real" head, and the other two being, well, not "real" heads.

So then, back to the darkness dragon. The position of his extra "heads" are by design, because they actually aren't heads at all. They're actually his wings! They're just decorated to look like heads. The "eyes" are just spots, the "mouth" is just a claw, and the "horns" are merely the partitions to the wing. (Similarly, on the real head, if you look closely at the eyes, you'll notice only one set of pupils, because Darkness only has one set of eyes -- the other "pair" is just another set of eyespots)

In short, the whole hydra appearance of the Darkness Dragon is just a bunch of deceptive camo designed to make him look more fearsome than he actually is. A "hostile inferiority complex", like I said in the description.

Makes me wonder how much of the description you actually read through, or if the drawing was too cool to spoil with such subtle details as Darkness being really just a one-headed, two-eyed dragon... lol.

PS: I actually have drawn my interpretation of a hydra, if you're interested, check out "Metamorphosis" in page 3 of my gallery. I haven't posted it, but I do have most of the details for my hydra species worked out. They're not "traditional" hydras, just a strange and fantastic species of serpent....

Well I'm feeling a little burnt out from this new site. I've generated a lot of imagery for it. Um... it's furaffinity.net And could be a great place for you. But since you're on sheezy too.... yeah it may be a little too much of a hassle. But it's alll about anthros (for the most part). And there is a lot of adult stuff there. So your adult peices would probly be better recieved there. A lot of people are crossing over to that site, and leaving sheezy. Oh, and you have to be registered to the site to view mature material. Which is one reason why I'm tempted to post a few of the things I've posted there, here. (cause some people who want to see more of my work, may not care to go through those steps to see it). Anyway, my profile name on there is Liono. If you feel like crossing over to the dark side ;) Anyway, it's nice to hear from you. Maybe early next month we can work on an art trade. Got your response. When I mentioned the foot of the ALiana anthro, I wasn't referring to the claws or decor on it -- those are fine. I was more referring to the actual size of the foot in comparison to the overall leg. Raptors, like birds, tend to have that "reverse knee" appearance which is really the heel of the leg. That's a popular leg structure for quadroped hindlegs and raptor/bird style legs probably probably because it's easy to "balance" when you do the picture composition since it effectively gives you an extra leg joint to work with. While I can't say whether Aliana should have that leg proportions sceme or not, I would recommend trying it once and seeing if that works the way you like it or not.

thanks for the comment but i am not a fan of dragons and since unicorns are only fantasy you can draw them in many different ways. Some unicorns dont even have forelocks. But thnak you anyway.

I see you took a stroll through my gallery. I saw the comment you left on my old pegasus, you said the wings were "too far back", eh?

Well, as I like to say, that's no mistake it was deliberate. I know that on most winged quadropeds the wings are generally located directly above the shoulders, IMHO not a very practical or balanced place to hang them. Wings should generally be located about the creature's center-of-gravity, and on a quadroped it's a little farther back then the shoulders alone. That's why, if you look closely at my dragons, you'll notice that their wings are generally located behind the shoulders instead of on them. I wanted to clarify that the wings were a unique pair of limbs and not just attachments to the forelegs. However, that was also my first try at drawing a pegasus (any pegasus) so I didn't have any former experience to go on.

But still, thanks for the comment and I do like it when comments are more than just blanket praise.

Well I'm about 50/60% done with your next pic... but it's coming along nicely. I'm only up for another hour, so I'll see where I'm at when that time is up. Don't worry about bothering me :D I know how it is to be doing scales it takes from anywhere to an hour up to a day to do them depending on how much detail you want to put into the image. I have to prelimanary sketch done for you now so I am going to work on getting it up tomorrow for you to look at it before I ink and color it in. I want your opinion before I accually start on anything else. It's not to anthro like ^^; sorry.

Cool, I started the pic already. I decided to draw Shadow. As for a pic for me, you could draw me like one of your dragon anthro's. If your ok with that. Just not like your Sephy's dragon form pic. It's well done, it's just the pose is...yikes. Make it nude if you feel like it. When you put clothes on them they look kinda weird. And for horns, make big horns on the sides of the head, that curve forward. And if you really feel up to it, and go to the color stage, make me a olive drab green. But if you don't, that's no big deal. I'm only doing pencil for yours. Cause there's sooo... much detail with the scales and all. Ok well I hope that was enough info. Thanks for your time,

If you saw the "Valefor MLP" I did, you'd see in the description that the reason why I chose the aeons instead of the characters is because it was unique and original to do so.<br />
