TAKE THE TEST!
Here is the 'Am I A Creationist?' Test:
1. Are science, logic, observable data, and rationality, completely and utterly incorrect?
2. Is God correct?
3. Am I right?
If you answered yes to all these questions you are a creationist. Congratulations on ignoring fact
Is god willing to prevent evil but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him god?
According to a study by Paul Bell, published in the UK Mensa Magazine in 2002, there is an inverse correlation between religiosity and intelligence. Analyzing 43 studies carried out since 1927, Bell found that all but four reported such a connection, and he concluded that "the higher one's intelligence or education level, the less one is likely to be religious or hold 'beliefs' of any kind."
Bell, Paul. "Would you believe it?" Mensa Magazine, UK Edition, Feb. 2002, pp. 12–13
If I were to suggest that between the Earth and Mars there is a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion provided I were careful to add that the teapot is too small to be revealed even by our most powerful telescopes. But if I were to go on to say that, since my assertion cannot be disproved, it is an intolerable presumption on the part of human reason to doubt it, I should rightly be thought to be talking nonsense. If, however, the existence of such a teapot were affirmed in ancient books, taught as the sacred truth every Sunday, and instilled into the minds of children at school, hesitation to believe in its existence would become a mark of eccentricity and entitle the doubter to the attentions of the psychiatrist in an enlightened age or of the Inquisitor in an earlier time

they were best to put their own interests first. GOD HAS DONE NOTHING. IF HE WERE TO EXIST EARTH WOULDN'T SUCK. IF GOD EXISTS, ATHEISM WOULDN'T EXIST. IF GOD DID EVERYTHING THERE WOULDN'T BE EVIDENCE OF EVOLUTION OR GENES OR THE EARTH BEING OLDER THAN 6,000 YEARS. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? THEY ALL EXIST! YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE THERE IS EVIDENCE OF THEM EXISTING! LOOK AT THE PICTURES BENK POSTED! WHY DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD? BECAUSE YOU SAID IT YOURSELF! YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND SCIENCE SO YOU BELIEVE A MYTHICAL ENTITY DID IT ALL!

your story is flawed. barbers physically exist. there are pictures of them and them doing their work. however no one has seen god (and i mean god not some stupid euphemism) and photographed him. facts that show a barber exist: pictures, sightings, leftover hair etc etc. facts that show god exist: book from 1,850 years ago that has been rewritten hundreds of times and changed to fit the will of the papacy.

SO YOU HAVE A STORY ABOUT A MISSIONARY BRAINWASHING SOME POOR AFRICANS? THAT DOES NOT PROVE GOD. THAT PROVES THAT THE MISSIONARY WAS CHARISMATIC AND WAS ABLE TO BRAINWASH TRIBAL PEOPLE. WELL GOOD FOR HIM! HE COULD CONVINCE SOME PEOPLE WHO WERE TECHNOLOGICALLY BACKWARDS FOR 1,000 YEARS! GOOD JOB MISSPELLING FIELD IN A STORY THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH GOD EXISTING!

In fact, most of the civilizations which were overrun by zealous Christians in their conversion fervor, were highly evolved in their moral standards, with complex social structures, high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, decorative art and evolved sciences, and content with their own religion. The arrival of Christianity actually caused these civilizations to move backwards. In this regard we need only look to Europe, for the Dark Ages of Europe is a time when the Church was in control. The Age of Enlightenment (Renaissance) began when the common people were freed from the tyranny of the Christian church....

Today, many are uninformed and believe that mission excesses only took place in prior times and today's preaching works are a 'good thing.' But as long as the basic premises and theology that underly all the abuses that took place in the past are not corrected, the result of mission activities will remain the same: Genocide and destruction of all that lies in its way, replacing it with the 'superior religion and culture' that most missionaries believe they are delivering

OH SO FOSSILS FROM MILLIONS OF YEARS AGO, TESTS, STUDIES, AND FACTS ARE FAKE? BECAUSE A FICTION BOOK TOLD YOU? GOD HAS DONE NOTHING AND I REPEAT NOTHINGIF HE EXISTS WHY AM I AN ATHEIST? IF GOD HAD GIVEN PROOF OF HIS EXISTENCE I WOULD BE A CHRISTIAN. BUT NO. HE DOES NOTHING. BUT YET SCIENCE HAS SHOWN FACTS, THAT GENES EXIST, MUTATIONS IN GENES EXIST, AND PARENTS CARRY ON THE GOOD MUTATIONS. AND WE'VE ONLY BEEN OBSERVING THIS FOR ABOUT 100 YEARS. SO THINK OVER THOUSANDS OF YEARS. THINK OF A MONKEY THAT HAD A MUTATION TO HAVE A LITTLE LESS HAIR. THINK ANOTHER MONKEY STANDS A LITTLE MORE ERECT THAN OTHERS. THEY MATE AND PASS IT ON TO THEIR CHILDREN. repeat for 1 million years and what do you get? A HUMAN! of course you need to mix in brain growth, etc

america is not the most powerful nation in the world
its the stupidest for even showing it off
CHINA however has a larger army, more advance ground based vehicles and has better small arms
RUSSIA however has the largest WMD stockpile in the world and has never used them while america thought that killing thousands of innocents is a good way to win the war, RUSSIA has produce an RPG which can puncture frontal armor of an american tank

Russia is a better country than america. Their people are not blissfully unaware of reality. some are but most aren't. america can be nuked until it is a pile of ash. I would not care because people like you would go with it and the world would be without a source of gluttony, stupidity, and ignorance.

He's saying that if the slave girl is not treated like she should be she can walk away free.
1. As a slave, she is owned and treated like a slave.
2. Wife to his son, she is treated like his daughter not a slave.
3. As his own wife, he cannot marry anybody else, if he does he cannot feed the new wife, or take clothes off her.
4. Ir he doesn't treat her in these three ways, she can walk away free.

just because you can't understand logic doesnt mean you have to spam my profile with you stupidity. I tried to explain to you how everything mythical in the bible can be disproved but you are ignorant and deny anything that takes a brain to understand. GOD is a simple answer but it is also the wrong answer. Logic and science are harder to understand but they are correct and most of the data is in place and works with others. GOD however is supposed to be loving and accepting but in the passage benk posted above, its clear he thinks rape is ok. Thats contradicting evidence which would be thrown out if it were science but in religion you keep things no matter what.
