IMPORTANT!
I wanted to apologize to everyone for disappearing without noticed nearly ten years ago! I was part of the AP Staff, if anyone remembers, but a lot of terrible events happened in my life that year and simply could no longer keep up with anything and just decided to disappear.
In that meantime, I also had to retire from art as I developed acute carpal tunnel and arthritis in my hands -- I do miss it, but there's pretty much nothing I can do.
I hope everyone, both new and old members, best of luck in everyone's future endeavors and once again I apologies from the bottom of my heart for disappearing all those years ago!

By the way, I shaded your picture! It was quite fun (and messy since I was in a hurry, sorry! Finals make me jittery, but I did my best for a finals-crazed girl) because your lineart was quite clean and bold!

I colored it with Open Canvas 1.1. Since you are interested in learning how to shade more extensively, I recommend OpenCanvas 1.1.

It is free and quite simple to use, unlike the abominable Photoshop! Since I had now had experience with shading your pictures,I would note that cell-shading would be your best bet for your type of bold lineart and art-style, but that is just a beginning strategy! You can variate always! Thank-you so much for letting me have fun with your picture! I truly like the result! It makes me want to draw more kissing scenes between pretty girls. ;-; Only the cute ones though. Haha. Bargh?!
