" WEST SALEM, Ill. (WSAZ) -- A 5.4 magnitude earthquake hit West Salem, Illinois Friday morning and people in West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio are feeling the effects.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the tremor hit about 5:36 a.m.
Dozens of people across the area have reported windows and doors shaking, but so far, there are no reports of injuries.
There are reports of more serious damage in Louisville, Kentucky."
