I’m surprised myself. I guess you hit a few raw nerves. Let’s leave this all behind us.

And after rereading that response you gave me, I just have to ask… if you have to be so incredibly careful about what poses you put fictional, heterosexual male characters in in order to not offend people, does that mean we should also be careful about drawing fictional, heterosexual WOMEN sitting down without having their legs crossed? Or wearing pants?
It bothers me a little that you seem to think that just because I didn’t draw Flik with a sword in his hands or with his fists clenched in preparation of beating someone, I would automatically intend to portrait him as gay or less of a man than he actually is.

If I wanted to try and make Viktor look like he was concentrating really hard on controlling magic, then yes. This picture is actually based on a fanfic I read once where Flik was holding back the power of his lightning rune to disguise the magic lightning as a natural thunderstorm, and his pose there was described like that. I didn’t know using that pose would insult someone’s beliefs/upbringing/view of what is right or wrong in our society.

Thanks for the comment on my Flik picture, but I would really appreciate if you could elaborate a little. Just telling me that you think he looks like a wussy femme boy doesn't really help me. Why does he look femme to you? It had me going "Wha?" since I had my not at all femme brother pose for that picture, so... a little help? And no, I'll probably never finish the picture. It's not good enough to put any more work into.
