Right, I also meant to say that, besides copying, also try to learn while doing so. Look at the form of the character, how things connect, etc. On saying that, however, don't rely too much on copying, otherwise you might start copying someone else's mistakes without realising it.

Practice, practice, and practice some more.

Copying is a good way to learn (not tracing, copying.) Start off by drawing your favourite characters.

I personally admire the more realistic cartoon style, I wish I could draw it a little more soft and round, than the currently awkward edged lines, as it is now, but it will come around.

And same here. I usually keep myself to myself around here, having a couple of irritating experiences due to me giving out critique. It wasn't mean, I swear.

Don't worry, I know. I've also mostly kept to myself for a lot of months, firstly now in the last couple of weeks I decided to try to actually talk to soem people, maybe I could be lucky and at least got some support, while I try helping others improve.

But there's a lot of people out there who has a problem taking criticsm, and you can be so overly nice, they all just think you have your head in your arse because: "oh, you just try to knock me in the dirt, because you are so damn good yourself". Really ahrd to get around that one.

Yeah, or you just get the people who use this as an alternate MySpace.
