You asked why it takes "forever to load a pic", right? I don't know if I fully understand what you're talking about, and the answer varies depending on what it is:1 - Me: If you're asking why it takes a long time for me to finish a drawing and put it on my FAC gallery, that's due to a lack of time, mostly.
2 - You: If you asked why YOUR pictures take a long time to appear in your FAC gallery after submission, this is because of FAC's Approval system. A group of site staff members must approve each submission to FAC before it's available for the public to view.
3 - In general: If you're asking why some picture pages can take a long time to load, this is because FAC has been very busy lately, and the server can't always handle all the traffic/visitors it gets.
