Sounds like a lot of fun with plenty of hassle tacked on. As for reading, I was on a Michael Crichton spree recently. A lot of good books there. Andromeda Strain was a billion times better in book form vs. it's movie counterpart imho.nextguardian on September 2, 2013, 7:38:00 PM

Downtime has it's benefits, absolutely. An abundance of it can be healthy, but maddening after a while. All told, no complaints, though. I've been keeping busy by handwriting the next installments in my Resident Evil series. I'm a little nervous about submitting it to ff.net, though. It uses an OC a lot, and I know those folks generally don't take kindly to that. What I want to get comments on- for better or worse- is the writing style. I've really tried to make the installments creepy as all hell, lol. I've got nothing on Hitchcock, but I'm trying! lol.What really sucks is job hunting. And college. And what have I done, my friend? Combined them. Taking personality tests and career interest inventories at that damnable factory of barely literate clones (translation: I don't like my college very much, and I think the students may be of a less than intelligent nature), and not finding out a whole hell of a lot I didn't know. Aptitude for business- check? Economy...ah, not so much. If business trends continue, the business climate won't recover for another forty years. I've thought about aiming for S.W.A.T, since I'm single and in semi-decent shape, but most people don't seem to think that's a wise choice for me. I think that's family and friends saying 'we don't want you gunned down', lol. But given my anxiety, do they have a point? I ignored their advice regarding my career before, and I got burned big time both times.

lol, fair enough. That would make sense. It's not really a convention without people attending, is it? XDCool! I'm writing a couple RE fics now. One is a little too romance heavy. But the other one is showing some promise. Any guesses at which girl(s) my OC is interested in?
