no i use only one pencil...and that is my trusty refillable Hb pencil ^_^...to say it's only a Hb it can go really dark, which is why i like to use it for all my pencil drawins.....i guess you do have to have a lot of patience when it comes to things like shadin.....some of my pics take me 4 or more hours.....God i must be mental!!!!!Gardian_of_the_shadow_relm on January 22, 2005, 7:16:07 AM
My God, i had to look at all your pics again....i love them!!!! so much passion in all of them!when i shade marik i always do it layer by layer. I start shadin really lightly and the gradually get darker where there's cast shadows. Blending is the key to a 'smooth' picture i always find.....i don't know if that helps you in any way, i'm not really very good at describing things *sighs*

thanks for the comment on meh Egyptian-Looking Dog, but his necks is supposed to be "wide."I have a dog, so I know how the anatomical structure works. It also depends on the breed, I guess, but I'm pretty sure that I'm accurate.
