I have to say, I'm very impressed with your art. You should seriosly work with charcoal. If you smooth it out with a q-tip or something, it looks like a pencil never even touched it. If you want to go into an anime-based job, I reccomend going to an anime convention where the editors are reiewing artwork. You can show them a portfolio of your art and maybe, if you're lucky, you can get a job offer or an overall review. I don't know if any of this matters to you and you're up to your neck in comments, and I'm no hotshot, I still have a long way to go. I hope this might help and I await your review on my Groudon.

in response to the speal you have in your bio, i'd just like to let you know that I agree fully. i myself am very fond of nudity within art. that includes things that are meant to be sexual and those that are not. in actuality, i prefer taistful nudity or nudity that serves a purpose. like how in Ghost in the shell (the movie) the major must be completly nude in order for the invsibality camo to work.

i just thought i'd second your opinion. and i'd also like to tell you that your skill with graphite pencil is amazing. you should do more things with nudity in them with the graphite. but thats just my opinion.

It's not that it's wrong, it's just that those pictures can be uncomfortable to some. Some people give comments like that just to show they're uncomfortable with it, because that's their opinion.

That doesn't mean you have to listen to it. All you have to do is respect it. :|

they're jealous that you're so friggin awesome, and wanted your glory for themself (wrong wrd there, but you know what i mean). they wanted to take your glory for their own. this is the work of a truely low, vile person. and on top of the whole stealing thing, they're incredibly stupid. if you're going to steal from someone, adn enter it in a contest, you should at least switch people you're stealing from. using the same peerson twice is just plain old retarded. ...i realise i've been making with the non-helpingness by giving tips on stealing, and for the record to anyone who doesn't know, my pics are other pics, drawn by the original drawer person of the anime, but i state that. i don't take credit for things that aren't mine, even when i should...(thing about a thank you card at a band banquet...weird, irrevelant story...)
but anyways...

Oh god, I hate people who steal and lie. You might know me as Ronnie's sister...you've talked to me before. I have to admit, no it's never happened to me, but you seem like such a nice and talented person, and I can't understand how anyone could ever do that to ANYONE let alone you...I'd send an e-mail, but it's not really my place, even if I am one of your fans. If you want to hear what I would say, it would be somewhere along the lines of:
"XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"
But I'm going to cross that out because it would be considered a legal threat and evidence against me if this person turned up dead....so I might not want to type it. Nope. A lot of people have asked so if anyone wants me to try to explain how I do it...the key word is TRY, e-mail me but make sure to put something in the subject matter so I know its not junk. I once put up a scanned image of my tools with a short explanation but someone commented that it wasn't fanart so I took it off.

i'm not ashamed that i use references. everyone has to start somewhere, right? so why not use a great pic, reaw as close to an exact copy as you can, and keep practicing. eventually i'll get good enough to not need a reference, but for now, i'll stick to ideas rumiko takahashi(gah! bad sound-spelling!) has, and go from there, as most of the ideas i think of end up being kinda really peverted ^^;

i am working on a non-reference pic, tho, curtosy of genkai, who motivated me to acknowlege my inner pervert in my drawings. i'll let you know when it's up, but currently, i only have inuyasha and kagome's heads ^^;
