hi im 13 yrs old and im an aspiring artist i love basketball and my favorite band is New Found Glory if any of my friends see this tell me. and umm im up for comments and anything else i also do requests(not that ill be getting any because im not that good of an artist) but ummmmmm thats it
right now im going for more realistic it is just i havent posted any of my work for a very very veyr very long time
so be expecting somore!

step 1- add a base color, if you want to colour something that is blue, draw a thin layer with the tone of blue you want to use
step2- add a second base, use a lighter tone for that, don't press to hard! just a thin layer =)
step 3- time for shading, avoid using black if you can hellp it, if you want to shade blue, use a darker tone of blue or purple, if you want to shade red, use dark red or purple. just shade all you want keeping the areas where you want to put the highligts untouched.
step 4- this is the fun part XD I call it the "what's this color doing here" rule it consists on using a completly different tone to emphatize shading, if you're using red, use blue, if your're using green, use purple or blue, just add tuches with a completly diferent color to make the pic stand out more =)
