Ah. I see you are informed. You are correct. The term for the practice which is Alchemy has only been around for a short time. Before that it was practiced the same under a different name. Many ancient "magicians and sorcerers" were nothing more than Alchemists. The Chaldeans for example. They were noted in ancient times for their believed magical powders and elixers. True it was believed to be magic it was nothing more than early forms of what was to be known as Alchemy. And yes. I do count the undetermined age of the Book of Abraham.

Ah my dear misinformed friend. All be it you are correct about only one functioning philosophers stone ever existing. You are not correct about alchemy having a short history. Did you know that all modern medicine has it's roots in alchemy. Even the medical symbol on ambulances is alchemic. My dear friend. Alchemy has a very long and fruitful history. All be it it's reputation was tarnished during the ages of darkness when it was linked to the greed of men and the legends of gold. So please do your homework on it. I mean no offense to you. But I myself am a true study Alchemist. I have studied it for eight years and I know very well what in it is real and what is legend. It is mostly chemistry and math. Anyway. Nice to meet you.
