mirrormask is about this girl named helena who gets tired of the circus life her family lives by. one day she gets sucked into this world where all of her drawlings and creation come to life. in the world there are two cities: the land of shadows and the city of light. the city of light gets kind of thrown into peril when their queen falls into an eternal sleep, and the only thing that can wake her up is a special charm. The charm is a mirrormask (thus the title). I don't want to give to much away but while in this world, Helena meets a young man... or creature... named Valentine. I adore Valentine. He is such a sweet caracter... even if he is a bit evil.If you want to see trailers and clips, here are some links: www.mirrormask.com (obviously), or www.rottentomatoes.com, search for mirrormask, and then look up trailers and clips.
It's really amazing, and definitely worth a trip to the theatre! (even if the tickets are outrageously expensive! >.
