You're back again? Keep in mind that while bans are processed on a per-account basis, they are really targetted towards the user. Registering under a new name after a previous ban constitutes grounds to be banned on sight without discussion.

But, having said that, I am not going to be the one hitting the "ban" button on this account (I will leave that up to our webmaster's discretion).

Now, as for your actual responses:

1 - FAC's pictures number in the hundreds of thousands. While this is still pretty small compared to other art sites (such as deviantART, whose pics number in the millions), it is still a large number to begin with, so it's almost impossible to respond to a case of potential abuse unless someone notices it first and brings it to our attention.

2 - As for specific submissions. I removed your comment from my user page for this reason, because public spaces are not the proper venue for giving abuse reports. Frankly, I do agree that the ones you linked are quite distasteful. I despise pictures that cross a line of PG-13, explicit nudity or almost any level of sexual content (with yaoi and yuri most prominently among them, thank you).

But at the same time I am also a site admin, one who is expected to uphold the rules and policies of this site. Unfortunately this does mean that I have to view things from a perspective of rules and policy rather than my own personal preferences (as stated above).

Having said that, current policy generally restricts only the most explicit levels of sexual content (further details are available [url=/ratings.php]here[/url]) and does not broadly apply to general nudity, distasteful as it may be. If you believe that it's the ratings policy which should be tightened (a viewpoint I can certainly agree with) then that is a legitimate suggestion you can suggest and discuss in an open forum. If you have a complaint about the rules then you need to use the proper venue for letting us know, and please do not take out your complaints on other users. Even justified harassment is still harassment.

Last year when we introduced our limits on explicit sexual content, our webmaster applied the change literally "overnight" with no advance warning whatsoever, and people started complaining about the change within 12 hours. It was a lousy week that followed. This is why any changes to submission or content policies need to be discussed in an open forum.

So to wrap it all up: I do agree with your grievances in principle, but working it out in practice is a different (and more inconvenient) matter, and there is a better venue for discussing rules and policy related issues.
