Stab at the Genesis Retro community? Meh, to each their own. I consider myself a retro Sonic fan (who also likes Sonic Advance 1, a lot), but even I see no issues with Sonic 4 other than what I don't know is real or not (bottomless pits mainly are my biggest pet peeve).

I like them both equally. All Mr. Green Eyes represents is art progression over the years, so I see no problem with it. Well, I also like Jason Griffith more than Ryan Drummond, so go figure.
