yah ill join. and yes radiation. think of it with all the levels sonic and co have run thru over the years with lots of them being some form of robotnics/eggmans factories, they are bound to pick up a lot of radiation. i mean look at sonic spinball. lv 3 was turning his buddies into robots useing lots of radiation in a giant factory. if that much can turn them robotic then only a little could sufficiently warp there genetic cell structure to cross mutate into a half type oc
