I don't have much to say
I'm 15 (now 18)
I'm 5'8 185 (now 6'4 220)
I love heavy metal music (still do)
Favorite colors are green, black, and red (still are)
that's all i can think of right now.
Suffering Overdue (great song)
theres something sick inside these walls
your loss of mind has come and called
your dissolution, view of why
you'll find no dignity upon the day you die
when you die
oh, yeah
in the end,
we find what's true,
suffering overdue
you claimed this oath and then you swore
beyond today, beyond forever more
withdrawn inside these sickened walls
Silence is broken, you can break me no more, yeah
no more,
oh yeah,
in the end,
we find what's true
suffering overdue
oh yeah, alright
in the end
i tried to speak my mind but it fell on deaf ears
these scars i held within for so many years
so many years, so many years
so many years
so many years
so many years
yeah
oh yeah
alright
in the end
we find what's true
suffering overdue
oh yeah
alright
in end we find what's true
suffering overdue
"Coming Undone"
Keep holding on
When my brain's tickin' like a bomb
Guess the black thoughts have come Again to get me
Sweet bitter words
Unlike nothing I have heard
Sing along mocking bird
You don't affect me
That's right
Deliverance of my heart
Please strike
Be deliberate
[Chorus]
Wait
I'm coming undone
Irate
I'm coming undone
Too late
I'm coming undone
One looks so strong
So delicate
Wait
I'm starting to suffocate
And soon I anticipate
I'm coming undone
One looks so strong
So delicate
Choke choke again
I thought my demons were my friends
Getting me in the end
They're out to get me
Since I was young
I've tasted sorrow on my tongue
And this sweet sugar gun
Does not protect me
That's right
Trigger between my eyes
Please strike
Make it quick now
[Chorus]
I'm trying to hold it together
Head is lighter than a feather
Looks like i'm not getting better
Not getting better

Cool. Everything is set up. I posted it that you're a membr of the pack. Oh and check this out.
The Academy: Spirits of the Beasts
Author: ME!
There my brother, sister, and dad were. Standing with their moths agape like they had just seen a ghost. Wait, you don’t know how it came to this, do you? I tell you it’s very tedious. Still want to know? Fine I’ll tell you. Here’s how it all started.
I had been riding down Whitehall Rd., on my mountain bike on November fifteenth, two weeks after my birthday, in the rain. I was going to see my friend, Jeanne, about a movie night idea I had. Looking back I see that was the least important thing that day. I was riding so fast I didn’t notice a truck about to cross the street and I wasn’t able to brake fast enough. Stupid tires sliding on the road. Sadly to say I was hit head on. The force sent me off my bike and into a abandoned parking lot. The driver who was probably too drunk to notice kept on driving.
I just laid there, on the ground, with thoughts running through my head. Most were about death. Like ‘Am I going to die at thirteen? That sucks.’ Yeah I was only thirteen. So sue me. The rain kept pouring down on me as I fought to stay conscious In the end I gave up and let my body slip into unconsciousness and then death.
My body lay there for a bit until a group of dogs formed around my body. Each had a weird glint in their eyes that just seemed unnatural. The dogs formed a circle around my body and began to pass over it one by one. Soon after each had passed over they left without a trace. After leaving what they had done to my body was obvious. My body had changed greatly. My height had increased, my canine teeth had grown to fangs, my ears had disappeared from the side of my head and reappeared on the top as dog ears, my nails had grown to claws, muscles I never had were rippling through out my body, and I had a dog tail the same shade if dark brown as my hair that reached my feet. A few seconds later I woke up. I guess that’s how you can put it. I got up groaning in pain and said “What the heck happened?”
I got up and noticed the rain had stopped. I walked over to a puddle to check how I looked. I was surprised to say the least when I saw the changes and I also found out I had yellow eyes now, not hazel I stepped back and fell over my bike. I inspected it and found nothing was wrong so I got on and began to ride to Jeanne’s again..
I reached Jeanne’s house and rang the doorbell. A minute later Jeanne came to the door. “Yes?” she inquired.
“Uh hey Jeanne it’s me, Michael.” I replied.
“You’re no Michael. Who are you?” she said and I could tell she was beginning to get frightened.
“Jeanne it is me look I have the scar to prove it.” I said and showed her a scar in the shape of a crooked S on my arm.
“That scar. It is you, but how? When?” she asked.
“Lets talk in your room, okay?” I said.
“Yeah, okay, Come in.” she replied and led me in.
Jeanne quickly told her grandmother I was there and took me up to her room. After we got up there I sat on her bed and she sat beside me. “Who and when did this happened?” she asked.
“I don’t know how it happened, but it happened about ten or so minutes ago.” I replied.
Jeanne turned to me and asked “What do you remember?”
“I remember getting hit by a truck and dying. Don’t interrupt. I woke up alive again somehow. I walked over to a puddle and saw my reflection. I found my bike and continued here.” I said and Jeanne just sat there wide eyed.
“What now? Are you afraid of me or do you hate me or what?” I asked after a bit of silence.
Jeanne got up and sat at my side. She looked up at me and said “I’m not afraid of you and I don’t hate you.” and leaned into me so I wrapped my arm around her.
After a few minutes of that I said “I should call my mom.”
Jeanne got up and I called my mom on my cell phone. After two rings my mom picked up.
“Hello.” she said.
“Hi mom.” I said.
“Hi Michael.” she said back.
“Mom can you pick me up? I’m at Jeanne’s house.” I said.
“All right. I’ll be there in half an hour. All right?” she said.
“Sure see ya.” I replied.
“Bye.” she said and hung up.
I hung up after she did. I walked back to the bed and sat down. Jeanne got up and sat at my side again. I put my arm around her and we sat there for a bit until she spoke. “What can you do now?” she asked looking up at me.
“My senses are stronger. I can tell individual scents. Yours smells like mint and cherries. I like it.” I replied and nuzzled her shoulder.
“What’s yours like?” she asked with a giggle.
“Cherries and chocolate.” I replied with a goofy smile.
Jeanne let out a mall laugh and said “Weird since you don’t like chocolate.”
“Yeah I know.” I sad back.
After doing that for a couple of minutes she asked “What are all of the changes?”
“From what I know I now have a dog tail, these dog ears, fangs claws, I’m taller and have a whole lot more muscles.” I replied.
“Oh.” Jeanne said.
I just shrugged at that and said “Nothing big.”
“Hey Michael.” Jeanne said.
“Yeah.” I said back.
Right after that Jeanne glomped me and began rubbing my ears. I began to growl contently and she said “Are you purring?” as she giggled.
“No, I’m growling contently. Cats purr not dogs.” I said in defense and glared at her.
“Fine.” she said and continued rubbing my ears.
A couple minutes later the doorbell rang. I walked to the window and looked out it. Outside was my mom. “Crud. Jeanne my mom’s outside. Can you tell her what happened?” I asked Jeanne.
“Sure.” she replied and headed downstairs.
When she reached the door I heard her step out and begin talking to my mom. A couple minutes later Jeanne came back up and told me to come down. I walked downstairs and exited the house. My mom was standing there and when she saw me she screamed. With my new hearing it hurt quite a bit. “Hi mom” I said and smiled weakly with a little smile.
“It was true.” I heard her gasp.
“Yeah it was.” I said and then realized I shouldn’t have.
“You heard me?” she asked with shock in her voice.
“Yeah. Should’ve mentioned my senses have become a lot stronger and I mean off the charts strong.” I replied with a goof smile.
“All right. Um Michael get your bike into the car and we’ll go.” my mom said.
“K’.” I said back and headed to get my bike with Jeanne.
“Need any help?” she asked.
“Nope.” I replied and got my bike.
I pushed my bike up to the back of the car and opened the back door. I picked up my bike and put it in. After doing that I walked up to Jeanne and we did our goodbyes. After that I stepped into the car. “So what do we tell everyone?” I asked my mom.
“The truth.” she replied and started the car.
I just groaned and turned on my cd player. I turned it on and began listening to my music. By the end of the fifth song we were home. We got out and my mom went inside. I heard her call the family and tell them what happened. Then she called me in.
Now we’re at the point to were I started this tale. Don’t got it? Okay brief summary time. I die, get reborn as a half being, and deal with loads of stuff that annoys me. Now back to the story.
“Hi.” I said as greeting and raised two fingers in acknowledgement.
My brother decided to be a complete and blatant idiot then. “No really who is he?” he asked and gave me a incredulous look.
“Look it is me. I’m going to my room and don’t bug me.” I snapped at them.
I stomped upstairs to my room and shut the door. I knew it was early but I wanted to sleep. My tension with my family had been like that for a while. No idea how it started. Also I do notice that I acted a little bit asinine. So I just fell on the bed and slept.
All while I slept I had strange dreams. Voices calling out to me, running in the forest and other stuff. For me this was actually normal compared to other dreams. After a bit they stopped. This allowed a peaceful sleep until morning.
I was awoken by sunrays hitting my eyes. I growled in irritation (I won’t say what went through my mind.) and batted at them. After a bit I woke up and headed to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and all that, but when it went to the time to wash my face I nearly screamed. “Holy heck I thought it was some weird dream.” I muttered and took notice the change in my voice.
‘Another change.’ I thought with a sigh.
I walked back to my room and tried to find some clothes that would fit my body. Thankfully I had a few baggy pieces lying around. I walked downstairs and grabbed a bagel. Seeing as how no one was up since the sun wasn’t even out I just took it up to my room to munch on. Also being the stupid moron I can be I grabbed a book from the book case that I thought mentioned what had happened to me. I sat down at my desk and began to read.
An hour later and….I had nothing. “Stupid book. Die now.” I said and threw the book at the wall.
My mom, hearing the noise, rushed up thinking I had hurt myself. “Michael are you all right?” she asked as she burst in through the door.
“Let’s see uhh, no. I can’t find anything about what I freaking became in that stupid book” and here I pointed at the now broken book”, I only have a few clothes now that fit and they’re tight, and best of all I look like a freaking hairless werewolf.” I replied with venom in my voice.
“Well for clothes we can go shopping, it doesn’t matter what you look like, because inside you are still you and you’ll find out what you are my little researcher you.” she said and gave me a big kiss on the cheek.
“Ew mom spit.” I said and wiped my cheek with a look of disgust on my face.
“I just wanted you to know we were going shopping in a few minuets for clothes. All right?” she said.
“Sure fine whatever.” I said and waved her off since I was still in a bad mood.
My mom sighed and left. In the few minutes it took me to get ready I found out two things. One my accessories still went in the right places and two…tight pants hurt!
Once I had finished I went off to look for my mom. That took relatively no time and then we were off. Also if you have a sudden growth spurt then watch walking into a car. Hitting your head on the ceiling hurts. During the ride we discussed what had happened. My mom was having a hard time believing it and me? Well I was just doing nothing to help her theory. “Uh yeah mom I’m going to shop alone if that’s okay.” I said as we got to the mall.
“Sure. I know how you teenage boys don’t want to be seen with your mothers.” Mom said and walked off to one of her stores.
I just rolled my eyes and walked around. I never noticed how big this place was! Eventually I found a store that sold okay stuff. Well okay stuff to me. I rushed to get to my mom and I learned another thing. Running full speed in my new body is a bad idea. I ran straight into a security guard who thankfully knew me and let me go with no problem.
Also something really important all other guys should know. Female stores will hurt your brain. Thankfully I found my mom and got her to come to the store. Thankfully once again without the humiliating showing outfits ordeal we got out of there with me wearing a black tee shirt with a white long sleeved tee shirt under it and some blue carpenter jeans. Got to love the basics. It also turned out I was about six feet tall now.
I didn’t acknowledge the weird stares from people but I still found the annoying. Would you want people staring at you like a freak? No? I didn’t think so. We got out to the car before I punched someone.
During the ride we discussed stuff and my mom said it would be okay to go see Jeanne. Man how do moms know what you want? Okay with that aside we got home with no trouble. Trouble did start when a creeping feeling began going up my spine at home as I got my bike. It was shrugged off and I began riding.
It began raining as I made my way. Then the bad feeling came back again. How fun. When I reached Jeanne’s house it was pouring and I don’t mean cats and dogs. I mean the type of rain you see in hurricanes and tsunamis.
I parked my bike and went to knock on the door. Jeanne’s grandmother answered the door and smiled when she saw it was me. “Oh hello Michael. Jeanne’s not here right now. She went biking and I hope she gets back soon. It’s raining cats and dogs.” she told me.
I said a quick thank you and left. This was bad, very bad I thought to myself as I began riding again. These were the same things that had happened yesterday. ‘Wait oh no. Couldn’t be.’ I thought to myself.
Oh how wrong I can be. Murphy’s first law was put into effect and anything that could go wrong will now. I biked around as fast as I could to find her scent. It was there, but it had been weakened considerably by the rain. I took in the scent and took off to the origin of it. Soon I found her. The sight would cause anyone to look on in amazement. She was sitting there looking at a puddle or more accurately her reflection.
I took this as a chance to sit by her. She had changed like I had only cat like. She had clawed hands, cat ears, fangs, pure bright emerald green eyes, and a long cat tail that reached just below her calves. Also even though she was cute before beautiful was too light a term for the way she looked now. “So what happened?” I asked, trying to sound casual and man was I doing a bad job.
“I was riding my bike home and I accidentally rode over the side. There was a car that I swerved to miss and I hit the rail. I don’t know what happened but I think I died. I remember cats though lots of cats.” she replied with amazing calmness.
She paused for a bit and broke out crying. She grabbed on to me and buried her head in my chest. “Why did this have to happen? Wasn’t everything hard enough already?” she cried and I could only hug her to comfort her.
It was true. Jeanne and I both had stupid stuff happening to us most of the time and these two moments were all time highs on the “it stinks” scale. “So what now?” I asked her after her crying turned to sniffles.
“I…I don’t know.” Jeanne replied and stopped sniffling.
“Well how about this? We go shopping first and then we see your grandma.” I suggested and she nodded her head in agreement.
We got on our bikes and rode off. There was a shopping square near there where they had some good clothing shops and other stores. Once again there were weird looks but not only at me, but at Jeanne too. Clenching my fists so the knuckles cracked was one of the few things that stopped me from slugging someone and then there was Jeanne glaring at me. Her glares are just scary.
The first stop we made was to a clothing store. Only thought that went through my head ‘I’m going to go broke.’ A woman in a clothing store with her male friend paying is very bad. Very bad indeed. From the racks she found enough clothes for about ten outfits I think and went to the changing room. The first outfit she came out in was the type of outfit that makes your eyes bug out and drool. She was wearing a pair of black hip hugger jeans, and a tight red mid driff tank top. “So?” she asked and swirled around.
My only reply was a incoherent mumble. She took that as good and went to try on some more outfits. All of them had the same reaction on me. Stupid teen hormones. Why god, huh, you couldn’t leave us with just growing up? After trying on all the outfits and seeing me act like a fool Jeanne decided we should pay for the clothes. The cashier rang it up and lo and behold it came out to a couple of hundred dollars. Thanking every cosmic being out there for my job I paid the cashier and we left. “You know you nearly made me bankrupt right?” I asked Jeanne as we made our way outside.
“Yeah. Sorry about that.” she replied and I could only chuckle at her.
We decided to stop at a burger shop quickly since it was almost three and neither of us had lunch. The time it took for us to get our food and eat was about another thirty minutes. We were joking around and smiling as we made our way to her house. We had no idea what awaited us. When we made it to her house the first thing we noticed was the door had been ripped open. We stopped dead in our tracks and I held my arm out in front of Jeanne. “Let me check it out.” I told her and started off.
“Michael I think…” she started but I cut her off.
“I know it’s a bad idea but I really don’t want you hurt so please stay here.” I said and continued into the house.
The sight I found nearly made me retch. In the living room there was a huge bloody disaster to be blunt. Standing in the wreckage of the room was a daemon or something ripping apart the few remains of what I guessed to be Jeanne’s grandma. I could only step back when the thing noticed me. It was giant! One hand alone could most likely grab me and crush me. The thing had a weird frog like face, giant arms, a torso that looked like it came from some bad sci-fi movie, and it’s legs were like a humans only with multiple horns coming out. Thankfully it was wearing some loincloth type garb. It chuckled and bellowed out “More food!”
It rushed at me and before I could react grabbed me. “Let me go you twisted pungent imbecilic toad.” I gasped out and the thing clutched me harder.
“Disrespectful food bad.” it growled out and threw me.
To be specific he threw me through the wall and to the outside. “Ow.” I said softly and Jeanne rushed over to me.
“What is that?” she asked with fear in her voice as the thing now declared as It came lumbering out of the house.
“Something that’s going to fill my fists in a second.” I replied with a groan and stood up.
Note to self never stand up after something like that. My joints cracked as I put myself into a fighting position. As It charged me I ducked and felt the air rush where his fist had passed by. Taking this as a chance to get a hit in I unleashed my hardest possible punch into his stomach. The effect was me getting bashed with his other fist and my hand nearly breaking. “What’s your stomach mad out of? Diamond?” I questioned It and It laughed.
“No puny half being can hurt me.” It bellowed and Jeanne and I stared.
Half being? What did he mean? I shook the thoughts from my head and rushed him again with a kick. That turned out to be bad since once again my hit did no damage and he wailed on me with another punch. “Michael!” Jeanne cried out and rushed to where I lay.
“That…hurt.” I gasped out and sat up.
Note to self again, for not taking note of the prior note I’m an idiot. I felt my body spasm and fell back down again. “Oh my god. Michael say something.” Jeanne yelled and I smirked.
“Something.” I groaned out and tried to sit up again.
Pretty much the same except I didn’t fall down again. Gasping for breath I looked at It which was lumbering towards us. “See. Now you’re both food.” It informed us and I laugh.
Jeanne looked at me like I was insane and It shot me an incredulous look. I stopped laughing and glared at It. “There’s no way I’m going out this way.” I said darkly and forced myself to stand up.
My legs were nearly collapsing under me but I kept on glaring. “This is my life. I decide how it goes!” I yelled and rushed at him.
Something clicked inside. It felt like my body had renewed energy or something and I unleashed the hardest punch I could muster. This time it went straight through his stomach. It stared down at my arm which was now protruding from his stomach and then to my smirking face. “How? You’re a weak half being.” It gasped out and I smirked harder.
“I told you. It’s my life.” I replied and he fell backwards.
Letting out a sigh of relief I fell down to my knees. There was only a smirk gracing my features as consciousness began to become a black void. Voices swirled around and before I closed my eyes I saw three figures talking to Jeanne. I heard tiny excerpts of it. ‘Your family’, ‘His family, ‘Apologies’, ’Death’, ‘Beings’, ‘Magic’, and ‘The Academy.’
END CHAPTER 1
Waking up was probably the worst thing I had done that day. The world slowly came into focus as my body began registering the area I was in. As I joined the waking world I saw I was in the police station. What? Why was I here? Oh no, here comes Chief. Chief is the police chief here where I live. He’s the stereotypical chief. Red faced, always yelling orders, balding, and he’s got a mustache. The look on his face wasn’t good. “Hello Michael.” Chief greeted me in his gruff voice.
“Hey Chief.” I greeted back and did a two finger salute.
“Look Michael I don’t know how to say this but with the death of Jeanne’s grandmother there were also the deaths of your family.” Chief told me in the softest voice he could manage which wasn’t very soft.
My reaction was my face paling and stuttering out questions as to why with wide eyes. ”They were found the same way Jeanne’s grandmother was. Torn up and blood everywhere. We’ve gotten reports that your relatives were found that way too. We have no leads. Michael I’m very sorry. The three who fund you are in the conference room if you want to talk to them.” Chief said and with so much utter grace left me sitting there as he up and walked away.
This was too much! I’m a kid! This shouldn’t be happening to me, but…it was. Ignoring the ache of muscles I got up and walked to the conference room. My hand reached for the door but it opened before it touched it. “Michel, great to meet you. Come on in.” a tall man who opened the door greeted me and led me in.
As the door closed I noticed three other people in the room. One being a sorrowful looking Jeanne, a woman, and another man. The woman had raven black hair, brilliant green eyes, was very well figured, had a crescent symbol on her cheek and was about my height. The man who had opened the door had eerie ruby red eyes, spiked up white hair, a warm smile, was taller then me, and when he smiled flashed fangs. The other man had a serious look on his face with shaggy black hair, eerie sapphire blue eyes, and had whiskers all over his face. “Sit down Michael. Now I guess you’re wondering who we are.” the white haired man declared and tried showing me to a seat.
“I heard part of it before blacking out.” I said and they all looked at me in shock and then I continued “You were talking about what happened to Jeanne’s and my families. You said something about apologies which could have been apologies as to all of them dying. The something about beings, magic, and a academy or as how you put it the Academy.” I stated simply and inspected my nails.
