Hey redshadow! Thanks for your nice comment; sure, I'll tell you my secret. To be honest wit'cha, I do draw and color my artwork by hand (I don't have one of those computer programs that let you color drawings on computer); I've been drawing since I was three. I don't think your artwork is bad...I mean if you look at it, most kids around your age can't draw the way you do; I think your drawings are excellent!=) The way I scan it is....wait......before I tell you, I wanna know what kinda scanner you have (the name brand), I have a Lexmark 2200 series Printer-Scanner.
