Why am I still awake?

Um, yeah. Is 'turmoiled' a word? because I wanted to say something, and that was the only word I could think of that worked, but I'm not really sure that it is a word. I know turmoil is, but I'm not sure about the 'ed' on the end. But just 'turmoil' doesn't work. xD;

The p key isn't anywhere near the r key. So, um ... Yeah. I think you need to go see if you found the right memory card. Before I die of suspense.

So anywho, can you come over this weekend? Despite the fact that it's near the end of the term .... actually, I'm pretty caught up. I just need to rewrite my math portfolio piece, because in terms of neatness it sucks. I actually cheated, because the problem was copied word for word from the old mathbook, which has a selection of answers in the back, and since it was an odd-numbered problem it was there. But that was just the answer; I still needed to write the steps one would use to get there on all three parts, make a table of lots of values, and graph the equation. So I didn't ... totally cheat. I just ... 'chacked my answers'. Yeah. But tell me if you can come over, because that would be awesome. It would take me maybe ten minutes to do that, anyway.

On another note, I started typing the science one. Which means I have to decipher my bus handwriting, which I can tell you isn't fun. Ehm ...

Oh yeah. Did you know that the keyboard we use now was designed the way it is in the days of typewriters so that the letters in commonly typed words were not next to each other, so that when you started typing fast the keys wouldn't get jammed? I feel smart. ;D

But yeah. See if you can come over. Cause you won't be able to on spring break.

Do you know how carbon dating works? We learned that in earth science. Uranium dating is used for rocks, carbon dating for organic matter. Because in every sample of carbon there is some naturally-occurring carbon 14, which is radioactive carbon. It has two extra neutrons. Regular carbon has six protons and six neutrons (and six electrons), but radioactive carbon has eight. Which makes the atomic mass fourteen. Because protons and neutrons are each one atomic mass unit, and electrons don't weigh anything comparatively, so we don't count them. Wow, I'm a nerd. u_u;; But you probably knew all that anyway.

I got to watch the high-school plays today instead of having class. They were funny. There were some cross-dressing guys (in dresses, with stuff shoved down their shirts so they looked like they had really big, saggy boobs) so I laughed. Most of then were one-acts. And it was sure as hell better than having class. xD;

I want the time-turner necklace. 0_0; But I decided that I was only going to ask for a manual typewriter, because if it seems to be the only thing I want, I'm likelier to get one. But I want one of those, too. Cept, they're like fifty bucks.

Well, I haven't gotten much of my writing done. I got sidetracked, as per usual, this time running words through a German dictionary online. Because ... Demon is based on German, but with a Japanese sentence structure. Why? Because I felt like it. My favourite is Lästern, which is actual German for 'talking shoot'. I find that rediculously funny, though I probably shouldn't.

Unn, you know what's ... odd? I have been in english classes since the beginning of the year, and hoping that I'd get a chance to write something imaginative, but did I ever get to? No! And now, I finally get to write one, and it's for ... science class??? Does something seem ... out of place here?

Yeah, well, humans rely mainly on sight. Demons have a very keen sense of smell, so Shruikan probably identifies them as much by scent as by sight. I feel like I already said this ... but yeah. So unless your photo also smelled exactly like potatoes, he would be like, '... um, okay ...' I'm still not quite sure exactly why he's scared of them. I don't think he has a logical reason. He just does.

But yeah. Potatoes are weird. They should ... unn ... un-weirdify. I learned yesterday how they work. I think potato plants are capable of asexual reproduction. Because if you stick a potato in the ground it sends out roots, using the energy of the potato, then it sprouts stem, leaves, etc and the roots take over. Then the roots send out little shoots, and the new potatoes grow on those. And then, if you leave those in the ground long enough, then they sprout too. Potatoes are weird, as I said previously. xD;

Hehehehe ... guess what guess what guess what??? I don't have classes tomorrow! C: We have ... school, but no classes. Because we're going to be watching the high school play that's tonight and tomorrow night, and since Fridays are half days ... that's our whole day. Need I say more?

I get to write my portfolio piece in earth science about August! xD It will probably end up in Apocalypse. August gets captured by demons and ends up in a canyon, which is very interesting in terms of earth science. Because you can see the layering of sedimentary rock and disconformities and inclusions and intrusions and other earth science crap! I get to talk about rocks! (and maybe work in something that has to do with astronomy, because we did a unit on not-earth crap, too) And, I get to draw pictures for it, which is super awesome. It's like the best science portfolio peice ever. 0_o The rest of the lame, banal class, however, has decided to do time-travel. Every. Single. One. Dx; Who didn't decide to write the research paper, because that was an option too, for the left-brained people. So I'm unique! ;D

((note: a portfolio piece is what we do at mlc to demonstrate what we learned, instead of finals, because the founders of the school decided that finals suck. Which they do. Have you noticed that the word 'demonstrate' has demon in it?))

Wow. But I need to go write that, because it's due next week maybe (well a rough draft or something ... I know I wrote it down somewhere ... -_-;;) And I only just started it on the bus. Do you know how hard it is to write on the bus? My bloody pen kept jumping.

But yeah. You should come over this weekend. Then I can tell you of my Teacup epiphany. And I can finally play kh2! I need something to do over spring break while you and your friends run amok in disneyland. XD; And I need something to keep me busy, so I don't leave millions of comments and write myself off. xD;;

I have for you now the reason Shruikan is afraid of potatoes. They are quite creeper, if I do say so myself. xD; These would be (to Shruikan) the worst of the worst. So ... actually, you couldn't blackmail him with this picture. He's only scared of the real thing. Just like you wouldn't be afraid of a photo of a spider ...
