Yeah I remember...
You just have to open your pic in paint and then press ctrl+w, what I always get is a frame where you can change the format of your pic horizontally and vertically.
What I do is horizontal 50% and vertical 60%, but thats something you need to check out for yourself^^
Hope this works for you^^

Happy 4th of July to you too. In regards to your scanner problem there should be a little box that says how large, in precentages, the picture will be try reducing the precentage size. If that doesn't work or if you cannot find the precentages then I'm sorry and I really have no idea what to do.

you did. go to google or yahoo pic search and get the link for that one pic.right.
sometimes a pic might not show up because it is copy righted make sure the link also has [img]then thenthe link to the pic with [/img]
if that makes since. im not sure what your doing if that doesnt work
